helby @helby.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Jeff Holden appears mentally unwell and anyone that doesn’t immediately scoff at this nonsense is either a fool or financially motivated to advertise it. 010
helby @helby.bsky.social · 08/10/2026I love these two. The most disappointed I’ve been in sports is when zero white players supported Colin Kaepernick. TP is dead on, it’s time for white players to start actually standing up for the people they share a locker room with. 180
helby @helby.bsky.social · 05/10/2026On Twitter you are very literally handing over your voice to Elon Musk, a single human, to do with what he pleases. On Threads you are very literally handing your voice to Mark Zuckerberg, a single human, to do with what he pleases. This all sucks. 010
helby @helby.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Yeah, “releasing” someone from their contract is very different than not coming to terms on a new one. One is getting fired, one is just reaching the end of a contract where both sides respected the contract. 010

helby @helby.bsky.social · 23/09/2026Watching All Out 2021. Hard to believe it was 5 years ago. It was such an incredible moment. The culmination of the intricate but desolate storytelling of the Daily’s Place Era smashing into the post pandemic wrestling boom. #Redeemthesenuts #Coffindrop 120
helby @helby.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Choosing to go to WWE would definitely support that theory. But she was just so good in her AEW year. 110
helby @helby.bsky.social · 19/09/2026I block regularly, but I preferred when the trending page was 4 AEW things and an actual news event. I will never care what happens on Piers Morgan or how much “backlash” a brand is facing for being too racist/not racist enough 100

helby @helby.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Even before I joined the military i thought treating patriotism & militarism as the same thing was gross. Even more now. Play the national anthem and show me the people and institutions that actually make America great, not war machines 250
helby @helby.bsky.social · 19/09/2026They’ve had outsude commitments to fulfill. Case could be made their debut should’ve been later, once they were fully available. But they wanted to debut them on the Detroit show and get the moment at Wembley. 000
helby @helby.bsky.social · 19/09/2026You’ve picked a tough time to start. College football as I knew it died several years ago. Consolidation of conferences and expansion of the playoff (all for greed) has taken away the meaning of almost every game. 110
helby @helby.bsky.social · 19/09/2026In WWE there are no other promotions (even NXT, and certainly not ROH or PWG). In fact there is no past at all. Sit and watch whatever whatever you are given & nod along. 010
helby @helby.bsky.social · 19/09/2026And AEW has gone on to establish healthy ongoing relationships with NJPW, CMLL, Stardom, and numerous smaller companies. WWE just stripped TNA for parts while trying to (unsuccessfully) hamper AEW. The 2 situations were completely different, you’re being silly. 030
helby @helby.bsky.social · 19/09/2026I thoroughly enjoyed the AEW/Impact relationship. I watched every Impact event during that time and got to know new talent I wasn’t aware of. The Impact World Title changed hands in the main event of the first episode of Rampage in front of a huge crowd. Kenny Omega appeared regularly on Impact 120
helby @helby.bsky.social · 17/09/2026It is really impressive what you’ve done with Mystery Wrestling. A true international promotion. If you ever venture west Rocky Mountain Pro runs some shows out of a very cool venue in Denver. 010

helby @helby.bsky.social · 17/09/2026I made the switch and it was worth the hassle. Recorded episodes show up late, but the extra commentary and lack of commercials really improved the viewing experience 000
helby @helby.bsky.social · 17/09/2026I’m no longer on Twitter, so it’s super baffling catching up with all the terrible takes that propagate over there. 010

helby @helby.bsky.social · 16/09/2026I do. And I also remember how well they have treated so many other talent. I enjoyed Swole and wish her well. It’s too bad she has a bad experience 5 years ago and hope she doesn’t let it define her career. 000
Reposted by helbydestroyallnerds.bsky.social @destroyallnerds.bsky.social · 10/09/2026Lance Storm suggested that the strategy might be viewer discipline. It's less about "beating" AEW than it is about distracting the existing fan base so no one gets curious and tries the competing product. 2101
