I've started replacing scrolling with solitaire card games during breaks, and this is the closest I've come to beating Klondike so far 🥳/🫠

The results from a game of the card solitaire Klondike. It's four aces in a row, except that the Ace of Spades (🎶 the ace of spades 🎶) has the Nine of Spades on top of it - meaning it's as close to a successful game of Klondike you can come to without actually winning it.

A very mean-looking beetle joined me for dinner yesterday - its rage was palpable

A dark gray beetle, about 20-25mm long, sitting on the armrest of a wooden chair. It has the meanest-looking eyes you can imagine - black as tar. It's staring into your soul, and judges the very core of your being. It's giving "I will haunt your dreams, shit on everything you hold dear, and if I had the required body mass, I would beat you until an inch of your life".

I was today years old when I realised the top shelf in my fridge can actually store tall things because there's MORE SPACE AT THE BACK 🤯

I think the Instagram discovery feed algorithm is bullying me

Two side-by-side posts from the Instagram discovery feed. The left one is saying "things your therapist *probably* thinks while working with you" with an arrow pointing to the right, indicating it's a multi-page post that you should swipe on. On the right, a stick figure is holding up a cinder block over its head, with the text "come here" above it, as if it's preparing to smash something with said cinder block. This was random/chosen by the algorithm, and the combined effect is that the Instagram algorithm is telling me that what my therapist is *probably* thinking while working with me, is that they wanna smash my head in with a cinder block. Rude Instagram, very rude.

Somehow I managed to finish the back of my #sensitsweater today?! I went from 4 rows into part 1 to stitching together the front and back. Addictive pattern, I tell ya 🤯 #crochet

I'm obsessed with the #sensitsweater, I've spent a silly amount of hours this week on it, but I can barely tell because they fly by so fast 🧶 it's my first proper big project, and front is done! 🥳 The yarn is a ridiculously soft merino which makes it so delightful to work on as well! #crochet

The drawer in question came from my desk, where it all started because I was going crazy not having a good space for my journals, which I want easy access to at all time 📚 this is the least messy my desk has been in... ever? Then I needed to put the drawer somewhere else, hence crochet storage 🥳

This week on making-my-life-slightly-more-convenient, I put a drawer in my Bekväm step stool so that I can keep my WIP crochet projects somewhere not-on-the-floor ✌️ also sawed off the legs so I can use the drawer behind it 🪚 is cute!

I got myself an epic lightbulb for my bedside lamp this week and it sparks all of the joy 🥰

I built a pedestal a while ago for a big plant, but the pot covered the fancy design I made on the top – a bit of a bummer. Today I finished turning it into a side table with a pane of acrylic glass! So now I can cover the design with /clutter/ instead of a bit pot! 🥳
