And if you wanted affordable housing you would instead tax empty residential realestate big firms are hoarding. It’s something like 25% of empty space. Some countries have vacancy taxes on multiple secondary properties to keep the rentals low.

FACT: Medical debt is the largest source of debt in collection in the United States, and it’s more likely to be held by women, people with disabilities and Black Americans. And if we had universal healthcare, like every other industrialized nation on the planet, this would not even be an issue.

When I lived elsewhere the state sent out information about the issues to be voted on with a sample ballot. My current state sends out no such information. Finding information on candidates and issues is difficult. We should have reliable ways to get information.

Lowest paid employee and ceo salary should be linked/proportional. for example a company with 500 people the ceo can’t get more than 20x the wage of the lowest paid employee. (Appropriate math adjustments welcome)
