I’ve given myself three weeks to decide if I want to quit my job. Since I don’t have a backup plan that’s also three weeks to figure out how the hell I’ll be making money. I “gave up” on being a full time artist when I took this job. Honestly, I’m not sure it’s possible. But I want to try. #IQuit

Depicted is a bastardized scene from the Truman show where, originally, an employee said "Truman, did you see this?" and showed Truman a newspaper headline saying their town was the greatest place in the world. He smiles intensely and gives Truman the "OK" sign with his hand.

This edit changes the headline to the real headline of "Tennessee ranked worst state to live in for 2026" and, still smiling intensely, the co-worker flips Truman off.

How do you navigate working a job that you absolutely love, while simultaneously having to work with extremely toxic people? #TheStruggleIsReal #WorkProblems

I’m on a One Piece kick again. Season 2 of the live action on Netflix is SO GOOD! I dare say it’s better than season one. I kinda slacked off on staying up with the current anime, but I’m back at it now. Decided to test out some new acrylic markers on this small piece of Luffy. #OnePiece #FanArt

Have you ever lost a loved one suddenly and thought, “If only I had the chance to say goodbye.” My friend just gave me the most heartbreaking gift. A phone call to say goodbye. I got to tell her how much she means to me and she got to tell me how much she loves me. A final goodbye. #RIP

People will argue that buying fish from big box pet stores doesn’t do the fish any favors. Although that is true to an extent, saving this fish’s life did him the biggest favor. The Wheel of Capitalism grinds on, but this Betta will be breathing fresh water tonight for the first time in his life.

Don’t eat these, btw. Unless you want to throw up. I kinda do, but not literally.

There was also a spider friend taking shelter from the rain under the mushrooms. Can you spot them?

I was sad. But then I spotted these Jack-O-Lantern mushrooms in my neighbor’s yard. I trespassed to take some pictures. I’m still sad, but at least I have some fresh color in my day. #Mushrooms #Mycology

😂 It’s kinda funny I should even say that because I did change my name on here… and my picture at about the same time. But I think Hecate Heck is here to stay at this point. There are probably mutuals who have no idea who I am 🤣

The only time it bothers me when people change their profile pic frequently is when they have a username I can never remember! I identify them by their picture. Christy is hard to forget 😁

Day 21 of sharing my art to TikTok until I become a professional artist. I can’t believe it’s been three weeks! In this short time I’ve experienced some really amazing highs as people respond to my art, but also many lows when the algorithm doesn’t push my content at all. #Art #TraditionalArt

The shelter pup of the week is Sadey! She can be a bit high energy in the kennel, but as soon as we get out away from all the chaos, she just wants love. She is really good on the leash and is game for adventure. She would make an excellent adventure companion! #AdoptMe
