Kenshi has probably some of the best emergent storytelling I've ever experienced in game. It doesn't rely on a scripted narrative, but instead focuses on organically creating objectives/stories through struggle, failure, and triumph.

My dad is not a handyman. Sometimes he forgets this, and he refuses to acknowledge it until after he's roped in multiple family members, has broken multiple pieces of hardware, and his project eventually falls apart in his hands. It's a pattern I can't help but see in other aspects of his life.

I grew up believing nephilim were real. Nephilim, my dad told me, were the children of angels. He described them as having no place in God’s creation, barred from both Heaven and Hell, so when they died their souls would linger on Earth as demons. He also taught me that they haunted my bedroom.
