Got in a gorgeous #StetRide before this afternoon’s rain. 🙌 #StetWalk
The shiny waters of the St. Lawrence with a sky full of backlit clouds. Looking up into a canopy of leaves, with glimpses of blue skies and clouds. In the foreground, my bike leans against a park lounge chair that I’m sitting in. In the back ground a bike path and the shoreline of the St. Lawrence.

Today's #StetWalk was climbing at the gym. Since that isn't very photogenic, here are some pics from Monday's stet walk.

The toads are singing in my parents’ pond, and the tadpoles will be hatching in about 3 weeks. Spring has arrived! 🙌 #SignsOfSpring

It’s a rather cool in my office today, but I’m perfectly comfy thanks to the legwarmers my mom knit for me. 💕 #amEditing #amTiredOfWinter

I'm so looking forward to this! 💛 Event: community.the-efa.org/events/Event... #consciouslanguage #editorsky #writersky #writingcommunity Karen Yin's book: app.thestorygraph.com/books/703dd7...
Excerpt from Karen Yin's The Conscious Style Guide: "We defy categorization. Our variations obliterate labels. Yet we continue to draw lines, build walls, put people and ourselves in boxes. And when someone does not fit, we blame them, not the box. The goal of inclusive terminology is not to break free of labels and ignore our differences. Rather, the goal is to honor the self-categorization of groups who have been denied the power to name themselves.

I'm reading 2 library books to a deadline, switching between the ebook & the audiobook, depending on whether my hands are busy or not. Curiously, certain landscapes and devices appear in both works, so that the stories are starting to feel as if they inhabit a shared world. Enjoying both so far!🪐📚💙

I just love visiting the botanical gardens in winter. The smell of soil and the tropical air in my lungs are so restorative! #WinterHacks #Botany #Plants
The fern room of the Montreal Botanical Garden's greenhouse, complete with artificial waterfall and creek.Bulbophyllum purpureorhachis, a plant in the orchid family with a feather-shapped, leathery, wine-red stem that twists as it grows. It has a row of tiny button-like flowers in the same colour that seem to march up the middle of each side of the stem. Delightfully weird.Tillandsia ionantha, a spiky and very colourful air plant with green and fushia leaves and long, skinny, purple blooms.

Loved *The Disordered Cosmos* by @chanda.blacksky.app. The early chapters on #astrophysics are fascinating, but the later chapters are the stars of the show. In them she does an amazing job of showing how #colonialism continues to prop up and influence western #science. Excellent read!
