Amen. Exactly. She wasn’t tried in the media. A Florida jury said she was guilty. What? Is that too woke?

The crowds were several people deep all up and down Main Street.
This expansive, wide-angle photograph captures the impressive scale of a large protest, with long lines of demonstrators flanking both sides of a broad, tree-lined boulevard.

The participants, holding a multitude of signs and American flags, have formed human corridors along the grassy verges of the road, stretching far into the distance. The sheer number of people gathered indicates a well-organized and significant community event.

In the center of the frame, the multi-lane road is active with cars driving between the two lines of protestors. A landscaped median strip filled with purple flowers, red geraniums, and ornamental grasses is prominent in the foreground, adding a touch of civic scenery to the political demonstration.

The overall image powerfully conveys a peaceful but massive display of public assembly and free speech in a quintessentially American suburban setting. The visual of people lining the roadway is reminiscent of historical human chain protests, creating a strong statement of unity and shared purpose. This is a wide-angle view of a large political protest taking place along a city street, identified by a sign as "Park St" in St. Joseph, Michigan.

A long line of demonstrators stretches down the sidewalk and grassy verge, indicating a significant turnout. The crowd is diverse in age and they are holding a multitude of signs and flags.

The messages on the signs are consistent with a protest focused on democratic principles and opposition to a particular political climate. Prominently visible signs include a bright pink one that reads "THIS IS NOT NORMAL," and others with slogans like "NO KINGS" and "LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL." A large purple flag with a white peace sign is also visible in the crowd.

The setting is a typical American town or city street with traffic lights, trees, and houses in the background. On the right, a two-story building has an American flag on a flagpole. The image effectively captures the scale of the public demonstration and the collective action of the participants. This image captures a dynamic moment from a protest rally, with a specific focus on symbols of LGBTQ+ pride and messages of resistance.

The photo is taken from the perspective of someone within the crowd, looking past a white vehicle towards another group of demonstrators. In the foreground, the out-of-focus figures of two onlookers or participants frame the shot, giving it a sense of immediacy.

Prominently featured in the upper left are a rainbow Pride flag and another flag that appears to combine the design of the American flag with rainbow colors. These flags are powerful symbols indicating that support for LGBTQ+ rights is a key theme of the gathering.

In the background, a crowd of protestors holds up various signs. A bright yellow sign declares, "RESISTANCE IS NOT FUTILE!" another reads, "I WANT MY ... BACK," suggesting a desire to reclaim something lost, possibly rights or a former state of affairs. The combination of the Pride flags and the resistance slogans points to an intersection of concerns within this public demonstration. This image captures a close-up view of a group of demonstrators at an outdoor political rally in St. Joseph, Michigan. The perspective is from behind two people in the foreground, giving the viewer a sense of being part of the crowd.

The participants, who appear to be mostly middle-aged and older adults, are standing on a grassy area in what looks like a residential neighborhood. They are holding numerous protest signs with strong, pointed messages primarily directed against then-President Donald Trump and in defense of American democratic principles.

Several signs are clearly visible:

A central yellow sign reads, "NO KINGS / THIS IS AMERICA."

A bright pink sign describes a "RUTHLESS UNCOUTH MANIAC."

Other signs express similar anti-Trump sentiments, with phrases like "TRUMP'S EGO NOT MY FA..." and a message to the world apologizing for his presidency.

One sign references the Constitution, stating that it does not make the president a king.

The protesters are also holding American flags, mixing patriotic symbols with their messages of dissent. One man in a wheelchair holds a sign that says "PRO-AMERICA." The scene portrays a moment of determined, grassroots political activism, with citizens using signs to voice their specific grievances and concerns.

Opinion | Trump's policies have decimated my business and wiped out a chunk of my retirement savings. But some Teslas were vandalized by far left activists who say that both parties are the same, so I'll be punishing Democrats at the ballot box.

I rescued a lone Hooded Merganser “youth” a number of years ago on the shore of Lake Michigan in a raging spring storm. The rest of the family was nowhere to be seen. I took it home, put it into the bathtub, called a naturalist acquaintance, and he “re homed” it. A prodigal.

We are shelves, we are Tables, we are meek, We are edible, Nudgers and shovers In spite of ourselves. Our kind multiplies: We shall by morning Inherit the earth. Our foot's in the door. ~Sylvia Plath~

Even the paving. Our hammers, our rams, Earless and eyeless, Perfectly voiceless, Widen the crannies, Shoulder through holes. We Diet on water, On crumbs of shadow, Bland-mannered, asking Little or nothing. So many of us! So many of us! (Cont.)

Mushrooms Overnight, very Whitely, discreetly, Very quietly Our toes, our noses Take hold on the loam, Acquire the air. Nobody sees us, Stops us, betrays us; The small grains make room. Soft fists insist on Heaving the needles, The leafy bedding, (Cont.)
