Make way for our latest paper on breast cancer risk prediction ! 🧪 In this study, researchers applied the BOADICEA breast cancer risk prediction model to 50,000 🇩🇰 women and provided valid risk estimates. Here is the Open Access paper: lnkd.in/dSSzi7Pm #Science #cancer @ucph.bsky.social

Finally, our breast cancer risk prediction paper has been published!

Breast cancer screening tailored to a woman’s individual risk seems beneficial both for each woman and at the societal level — but only if we can measure that risk accurately.

In this study, we used the BOADICEA breast cancer risk prediction model, which combines age, genetics, family history, lifestyle/hormonal factors, and mammographic density, and applied it to 50,000 Danish women.

Overall, the predictions were well calibrated and provided valid risk estimates.
