Get out of here with this racist crap. Devir went ahead and stepped in their own piss. Please go support Jeremy and let Devir know your disappointment and dissatisfaction. But on top of that—there’s MANY reviewers who received the game prior to Gen Con failed to notice or mention this crap.

We were recently made aware of disturbing and offensive artwork in the new game Ace of Spades by Devir. We have contacted Devir regarding this matter. Fellow hobbyists: we must strive to be better humans. We can’t simply “look the other way” when an issue doesn’t affect us directly.

Finally found a place selling Brunost cheese again, so wife requested that I make more of my troll hunter stew, apparently her favourite dish of all my feasts, for In the Hall of the Mountain King, and I'm inclined to agree.

A block of Ski Queen classic brunost caramel cheese

The board game In the Hall of the Mountain King alongside various dishes: a swedish style stew, seed bread, trollkrem (lingonberry mouse), gingerbread pillars and rock candy.

I visited Rabot Hotel Chocolate experience yesterday. I made my own dark chocolate from the tree to the bar. I love dark chocolate more than most things, but I have honestly never had an experience like this. It was honestly the best thing I have been tasted in my life.

At the end of a seriously long year, my cup needed some filling. Nothing like my favourite convention with my favourite people to do that for me. This weekend I have been reminded that there are amazing people doing so many amazing things in board gaming. I am so lucky to be a part of it.

I didn’t know Amber very well. In fact, we had only met one time in real life. But the clear impact she made on the board game community is immeasurable. Amber left a young child that she loved deeply. If you have a few extra dollars, help to see that he is taken care of financially.
