At a time when others are "cutting out DEI" and dropping shallow rainbow marketing, I am glad that my team is stepping up and standing with our players, my fellow developers, our friends & family, and all of you. This is what #Overwatch is about. overwatch.blizzard.com/en-us/news/2...

Standing Together and Celebrating Pride

Pride returns to Overwatch 2, and we’re celebrating together with our players with new game rewards and community events as we stand alongside those in the LGBTQ+ community.

The #Overwatch2 Team has unionized 🛡️ Nearly 200 Developers across Art, QA, Engineering, and Design have joined the CWA. Key reasons include pay gaps, remote work limits, and a push for clear protections around crunch, time off, and severance in case of future layoffs.

I may have found a "not-so-random" reference in #Junkrat + #Mauga's interaction: It may not be a coincidence that Junkrat asks Mauga for advice on becoming an underwear model, with Kaplan having been asked about this in 2017 (interview on IGN)😅

Toby Fox continuing games being around the £20-40 range AND free shit with it, instead of Nintendo's £80 is crazy. Really shows that things are just inflated for no reason

#OWDevAppreciation2025 A thing I've appreciated in the last year in #overwatch2? The teasers with maps!🔍 They brought back some of the old magic/investigation that was felt in the past, discovering small connections with new heroes.🥰

Was looking forward to this and the 6 games I was able to play with my friend was a lot of fun. I wish seasons were longer or they were given more time to make sure things work before being pushed out

It kinda sucks 6v6 QP launched without perks and is now removed, and now 6v6 Comp doesn't allow wide groups so I'm completely unable to play it with my friends

She was an early example of the Phreaks (another was going to have a small role in a comic). When we were considering who would have the technical capability to install Sombra’s cybernetic implants, they were the natural choice. (Bear in mind, this was the thinking from a long time ago!)

Very happy to share the concept art for unique javelins for Orisa's OW1 skins. Every year Team 4 has an event where we get free time to work on any idea for Overwatch, so I used my time to concept and pitch these to the team. Stoked to finally see them in game! #Overwatch2

The Stonewall Inn released a response to the National Parks Service removing the word transgender from the park outside of the Inn. A great reminder that we have to look after each other

The Stonewall Inn and The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative are outraged and appalled by the recent removal of the word 'transgender' from the Stonewall National Monument page on the National Park Service website. This blatant act of erasure not only distorts the truth of our history, but it also dishonors the immense contributions of transgender individuals - especially transgender women of color - who were at the forefront of the Stonewall Riots and the broader fight for LGBTQ+ rights.

Ok, so hero 43 Freja I like a lot of things about her, but she represents a change in character design philosophy that has been a thing in Overwatch heroes for quite some time now, being that characters seem designed for marketability over all else.
