This morning I wrote to Defra to express my anger at the complete and utter mess of the roll out of the SFI scheme. They have shown a total lack of foresight and understanding of the difficulties farmers in my constituency face. Our farmers deserve better. Defra need to find an urgent solution.

What on earth is going on with local government reorganisation? West Sussex was already waiting until October for a decision. Now the Government has paused plans elsewhere and launched a wider review. People in Mid Sussex deserve clarity, not more delay and confusion.
