Excited to share this article. In addition to @vegetablesaute.bsky.social's superb report, we have plenty more photos, and a couple of videos from the event. The complete collection will go live in a separate article alongside our main feature. 🤩 There is a LOT to see here, look forward to it! 🙏

Idk I saw something funny yesterday and felt compelled to draw it. (1/2) #LupinIII #ルパン三世 #Jigen #Goemon

A drawing of Lupin the Third, panel 1 of a comic, with a tumblr screenshot as his speech bubble.

He is wearing an apron and cooking, looking over his shoulder as the screenshot says,

"if you ask me, the guy who put the sword INTO the stone should be king, not the chucklefuck who got it out."

A drawing of Goemon Ishikawa XIII, panel 2 of the drawing.

He is tending to zantetsuken as he looks to Lupin's direction with one eye closed, his own speech bubble contains another tumblr screenshot, saying:

"I assume the guy who put the "sword that makes you the king" into the stone, doesn't really want the position".

A drawing of Daisuke Jigen, laying on the couch with his arms behind his back, closed in on his face. He, too, has a tumblr screenshot in a speech bubble, finishing the conversation with,

" i think the stone should be king since it held the sword the longest"

Panel 4 of the drawing, it has zoomed out to show all of Lupin, Goemon and Jigen.

Lupin is putting the lid on a pot he is letting simmered, looking unamused towards Jigen's direction on the couch. Goemon is the same, with zantetsuken back in it's sheath by his side.

Jigen is looking at his phone not caring.

LRT Consider what resources helped you do what you wanted to. For example, maybe you learned color theory on YouTube. Have you given back to that teacher? Shared their gift of knowledge with others? Nothing is a given that it will exist into the future unless you feed and nourish it to survive.

Some doodle redraws from Another Page because Jigen makes some choice faces in that movie! #Art #LupinIII

One image with multiple sketches on it, done in black and blue ballpoint pen on paper. Multiple faces of Jigen, a surprised one, a menacing one, a frightened one, a small surprised one, a neutral one, and on the bottom one where he's got his hands in his pockets leaning over and looking up -- this one is also toned in with a watercolour texture.

I'm all for Jigen x Zenigata, ok. Team hat trick over here🤠

Jigen is handcuffed at a table with Zenigata, offering up a secret about Lupin if Pops will give him a "toe curler of a kiss". Zenigata is offended but also intrigued. Jigen considers what secret would be tantalizing enough to the inspector.

Jigen promises to tell Zenigata how well endowed Lupin is, using his hands to show an approximate size. In the final panel, Jigen is sitting with his hat askew and his shirt open, having gotten his steamy kiss, and is sitting with Lupin at a bar. Jigen says that long story short, that's why Lupin's official police record says he has an eleven inch tallywhacker, to which Lupin is extremely offended that it's ONLY eleven.

It took me about two months to motivate myself to add the text. Тhe everyday life of two such different animals would be an unforgettable experience I'm so happy for Lupin, he's wanted to get a dog for a long time. #lupin #jigen #fujiko #lupinthethird #lupinIII

Jigen, if an unknown pseudo-scientific force had turned him from a possum into a wolf (it's probably a wolf)
He would be three times taller than Lupin!
There's a lot of commentary on what happened, especially Lupin's incredible joy

I've been wanting to draw my characters in Lupossum style for a long time. The first one will be Lorette. She was an antagonist under the influence of her powerful husband Engel. But Jigen kindly made a ventilation in Engel's skull, so now Lorette is free and brings more good than evil :)

Tabira City! #cloudwardhospoilers The first of the tableaus in #CloudwardHo - these MASSIVE illustrations were a collaboration: I did the layout, lineart, and color keys. Character designs @simonroy.bsky.social, Background colors:@domirine.bsky.social, Character colors:@galacticjonah.bsky.social!

Tabira City. A panoramic layout of the city square, a bustling marketplace on a walking city in the desert. It is populated by many many people, crystal and plant folk, dinosaurs, simians, and constructs. There is a food stall, military officers, shoppers, and a brontosaur carrying people to-and-fro. A fantastical city with airships in the background.

Looking forwards to actually understanding the words. But I think my favourite part is that all-too-familar Koike style smile at the very end. Saw it in Redline, and definitely here with Lupin where it just fits so damn well. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ij0d...

Gold ink on black fabric. The art is of a thylacine with skeleton-like markings that is rising up. It says "I'm coming back from the dead, I'm taking back the life you stole" in a scratchy, grungy font
