Thats very logical but thats not really the perspective i’m trying to take. I’m approaching it from the perspective of black audiences & the optics of not making captain from the start & how that correlate’s to Benny being treated in the ep Its whats under that decision to make him a Commander

It was ad if The Sisko was movin on up like the Jeffereson’s themselves to a deluxe but Tough Little Ship in the stars! As a black man that is far more powerful to md than if Sisko began his journey as a Captain.

Avery was asked in a interview that question & his answer stuck with me to this day his reply was a very gentle “I don’t know” The silver lining is that we got to be there with him for that promotion from Commander to Captian 👇🏽 One more thought…

I just finished a rewatch of Far Beyond the Stars & as a black man I often wonder why Sisko wasnt made a Captain from the start. Something that plays into this ep about no one would accept a black captain perhaps? Or was it simply that he had no ship to command? There are numerous possibilities 👇🏽

You can order the missing pieces from Lego for free just look up the set or in the manual grab they piece number. They stand by their no missing pieces promise so they will send it to You with an apology. Assuming its Lego brand.

Apparently people are sharing this far and wide on social media, which I think is horrible. This could cripple ICE operations. PLEASE do not share this.

Google says they’re not planning any follow up. I get that they did this bc “The Evil Twin” is a Soap trope. No rhyme intended and I thought Ethan was great but its a missed opportunity & kind of steps on the mystery & lore created in their acknowledgement of his existence earlier in the series.

The reason Ethan played both parts is because of the Soap Opera Trope of the Evil Twin.

Think of the epic season finale this could have been with a focus on Sybock and what leads him from this stage of his life and philosophy to The Final Frontier. I wouldn’t have cast Ethan Peck but that could have been epic!
