You get stronger each time you attempt the dungeon, but the dungeon gets stronger each time you win. Over time the game gets more complicated on both sides of the table, but only after you've visited and revisited rooms, time-loop style, and gotten used to navigating them.

It's very different from Triangle Agency. If you've found the core game a little intimidating but want to hang out in the world, I think you'll really like this. FIST is the easiest pick-up in the world, and we've written the dungeon for pick-up-and-play GMing that grows with you as you master it.

i put together the original list but @seanireland.bsky.social did the majority of the writing bc i was no longer connected to this plane of existence after a couple days of walking around putting my full hand flat on various things & saying stuff out loud like "..... shelf.......... is.. an object."

a catalogue of 64 home good items like "bed" and "fridge" and "toilet"

five of the items with four escalating descriptions, like a car bed that goes from "loose mattress with a flashing check engine light" to "bed of a pickup truck" to "queen-sized race car bed with working headlights" to "memory foam twin mattress inside a fully functional compact luxury sedan"

one of the things in architect is a D666 table of House Stuff & its construction gave me an existential crisis about how unbalanced "unique categories of home goods" is toward kitchenware. which is very much on my mind again while packing. there's so much stuff to love in this game but I think I'm proudest right now of the approachability. you can dive in basically immediately and then, each run, both the players and the GM gain mastery and improve the game. you get to grow a deep relationship to this dungeon.
