this is definitely cool the reason why we don't explode is we're technically dead everything works as intended, but the developers had to add a check for if the game over routine is set to false - only then it causes a game over.

I think for a true metal gear like to exist it needs the weird writing that only Kojima seemingly had going for him. You can make the gameplay but the writing uplifted it all imo, made it bigger than just the game. gave us a reason to play 👀 That and shinkawa designs

interesting meta insight - there's 10k "fake" views on this video because youtube counts now a single frame viewed as having watched the video. the real "engaged" views are at 7k honestly I hate this system, I rather look at impressions and actual views vs this weird middle thing :/
