Why isn't the court doing anything? My hypothesis is that courts don't want to hold the admin in contempt because the admin would just ignore it, and that would spell the end of any authority of the courts.

In the last few weeks before an election, the GOP's hole card is the evangelical churches. Every Sunday, parishioners will be exhorted by their pastors to vote against Satanic Democrats. In my son's Texas high school, they spent three weeks on the Thirty Years' War and "ran out of time," so there was only one week for the whole 20th century. I decided this was deliberate: Teach the younguns that religion is a reason for war and minimize having to say anything good about FDR or MLK.
