thanks, chum. started my ADHD meds a few weeks ago. they are making me MUCH more disciplined and calm. have cut out all snacking which has lead to me shedding nearly 5kg. it's a good look. still hungry just able to wait for actual meals for the first time in my life 😊

yeah I’ve found sugar the hardest thing to give up. I do protein for breakfast and lunch which has helped reduce carb craving. I’m absolutely sure ADHD meds are increasing my sense of discipline too. I’ve lost the guts of a stone since August 😊

teens is a tough time. i grate veg into sauces i want ted to eat. he gets strawberries with his breakfast as he actually likes those.

ted is 13 in november and i'd like him to be much taller than me so really happy to serve up protein however he wants it 😊

anything i do i like to max it out. know everything i can. sometimes this means i feel i've completed something and put it down for good. boozes seems to be one of those things. there are no shades of grey here.

yes. i saw a locum doctor made a note that i 'drink within recommended levels' on my notes when i got them for ADHD diagnosis. cheeky clunt.

i think they'd dig that too. we've been having a breakout thai moment since the summer when i bought some mae ploy pastes. i'd maybe blitz some lime leaves in there too. for that top note zing.

both my parents chronic life long alcoholics. so was my father in law. have advised the boys there are much better ways to socialise.

i'd say that stopping has taken years off me. i'm the fittest i've ever been at 56. took a while to get things sorted but so glad i did. helps a lot with ND issues too.

i was chucking it down in lockdown three. got so big. it was not a good look. big, angry, florid paddy face. this was never on my mood boards. vanity was definitely a driver but also realised i had mental health issues and booze was making that worse. it's taken four years but happy now 😊

they definitely prefer me sober. so does lizzy. i can say it's the best single decision of my life 😊

yeah, hoping positive patterns rub off. it's one the reasons i stopped drinking. if daddy can do it then you can do it too <should they ever run into challenges on that front>

he used to find black pepper too aggressive but loves my curries now. we are having three per week around two batches of wings. i might turn into a chicken at this rate 😊

that's a good idea. we tried planting and growing vegetables with ted but, when it came to eating them, 'no chance, dad.' 😊

my wife disciplined enough to have a single square. i've managed to get it down to four 😊

just realising that sweetcorn fritters would be well received here too. do you spice them? i was thinking thai style with some curry paste and a sweet chilli dipping sauce?

i suddenly just 'got' cabbage at 12. never looked back. think ted is a fair distance from that. he will eat the floral bits on broccoli and that would be that, if he had his way.

watching season one again with lovely wife. I found it a bit errr… claustrophobic when it came out.

I had forgotten that I’d been the same. I’d also rather he ate well than picking at things I think he ought to be. things have to be consistent for him too. that actually appeals to my ND mind too 😊

joseph pilates strikes me as quite an interesting chap. big fan of his exercise program but also how it overlapped with dancers and actors.

i shot the eric prydz video at the laban centre. it is, of course, a dance studio. absolutely beautiful too.
