昨日夕方のニュースで見かけた、八王子で植木の里親制度を手掛けている造園屋さん。古い家の庭木を引き取って、新しい家に引き継ぐ活動を実費のみでやってらっしゃる。引き取った庭木は一旦「もらえる植物園」の中で管理され、保護猫カフェのような感じで客が引き取ったりするんだそうだ。いい取り組みだ。時間と手間がかかった庭木も家といっしょに簡単に潰されちゃうからね…。悲しいことですよ、それは。 www.yamashitagreen.com/satooya/

一昨年購入した、州裁判所の払い下げ品の古い裁断機。刃こぼれしているのを騙し騙し使ってたんだけどいよいよにっちもさっちも行かなくなり、ほぼ同じ設計の後継機の説明書と刃の交換手順の動画をメーカーがネットで公開してたので、それを頼りに自力で交換した。悪戦苦闘の結果、完璧に切れるようになったのでめちゃくちゃ嬉しい

私は心底死ぬのが怖いのですが、他者が死ぬことも嫌で嫌で仕方なくて、これは当たり前の素朴な感情だと思っていたら、自分にとって"不愉快な"者の死を純粋に喜ぶ人々がXにはごまんと居て。でもあれはその人の本質という訳ではなく、環境によって方向付けられたものと思いたい。
