Read @commandermac.bsky.social's article with interest. My abiding memory of JOE 90 is the 1994 BBC1 repeats at 7:45 am on Saturday mornings: After 'Project 90', Philippa Forrester saying, "wasn't that balloon music great" and getting them to play it again while she read the birthday greetings.

Steve Cook's comment on his blog about the quality of photocopiers in 1972 (re the dummy cover for MIGHTY WORLD OF MARVEL) reminded me a couple of years later our post office got in a photocopy machine - 10p a copy on glossy electrostatic paper - black areas were often washed out -

a photocopy of the cover for the dummy of MIGHTY WORLD OF MARVEL, rescued by Steve Cook and posted on his blog.

Regarding "Idotee" - the name was given in the October 1964 TV TIMES listing for The Ghost Ship. I asked Alan Fennell in 1990 where the name came from and he couldn't remember. He gave the same answer as Ben - "OfNoConsequence is a good enough name."

Could the DANGER MAN episode 'Fair Exchange' have inspired the 1966 SECRET AGENT 21 sequence in TV21 where 21 goes rogue in Bereznik to kill the security chief who had Tina Palamac murdered? (recently posted by @gleanniucha21.bsky.social ).

Latest volume of #SamKydd's memoirs from @jonathankydd.bsky.social tell how the role of ORLANDO in CRANE came as a result of #RoddyMcMillan's mishap - and this 1963 news report reveals that Orlando's iconic woolly hat was inherited from Roddy's location filming!

The four stars of "Crane" are Patrick Allen, Gerald Flood, Roddy McMillan and Laya Raki.

Sam Kydd reveals that he inherited the woolly hat he wears in CRANE. "Roddy McMillan, who was to have played Orlando, was injured after some long-distance shots had been taken. Same took over and he had to wear the hat because it had been worn in the shots already taken."

Annual for the ORLANDO TV series - with that iconic hat.
