so i redrew some year-old self-indulgent lulaw… [ #onepiece ]

a series of sketches of luffy and law from one piece.

1. luffy, in gear 5, stretches law’s cheeks far past the normal range. he says, “i’m made of rubber! and you can be too!”

in the second part, he releases law’s cheeks with a snap, returning him to a shocked but normal expression.

2. law is on his back, on top of discarded clothing. luffy sits between his legs. above his own head, law cradles luffy’s removed heart in his hands, which are resting in turn inside the bowl of luffy’s straw hat.

3. law, with his disheveled wano yukata falling off his shoulders, holds up luffy’s removed heart. it’s beating like the drums of liberation. in shock, law says, “i could kill you right now.” a speech bubble with luffy’s easy smile replies, “you won’t.”

4. luffy, in his dressrosa mustache, beard, and glasses, makes a crude gesture with his hand thrusting toward his mouth and puffed cheek. a doodled law yelps, “WHAT” next to him.

my april #2025fanartforfanfic is from "You Had Me at Straw Hat-ya" by Cooknumber3 i genuinely havent stopped thinking about this interaction since i first read it 😭 but the whole fic is so fun! i love watching them both fumble around and figure out their relationship,, [ #onepiece ]

4 page one piece fancomic. page 1.

panel 1: luffy leans over law. they're both naked and presumably in the unused captain's quarters on the sunny. law's hands slide along luffy's back.

panel 2: law's fingers trace over luffy's spine, going lower.

panel 3: luffy is still perched over law, who looks flushed and a bit overwhelmed. his hands have settled around luffy's waist.

panel 4: luffy leans down, his eyes innocently wide as he asks, "will you beg for it, torao?"

page 2.

panel 1: luffy starts messily licking up law's neck as law stares at the ceiling, unamused.

panel 2: law replies with a monotone, "pretty please, with a cherry on top." luffy tries to stifle a laugh against law's skin.

panel 3: luffy fails, holding himself over law as he laughs. law has a smile on his face now, proud of himself.

panel 4: luffy laughs openly as law grabs one of cheeks and stretches it. law snorts, "beg for it. the audacity."

page 3.

panel 1: law quirks a brow and sticks his finger into luffy's grinning face, saying, "you have been pushing your luck."

panel 2: luffy bites the finger law is pointing at him, gripping it between his teeth and tongue.

panel 3: law yanks it away, slobbery, with a playful grin of his own.

panel 4: luffy smiles down at him and says, "worth a try."

panel 5: then luffy flops his full weight down onto law, punching air out of him with an oof.

panel 6: luffy's cheek squishes as he lays on law's chest. he looks up, brows drawn and says, "hey. hey, torao." "what?" law asks.

page 4.

panel 1: luffy nuzzles at law's cheek and ear, asking, "can you go again yet?" law looks at the ceiling tiredly, but his hand is still resting on luffy's back.

panel 2: law starts to prop himself up on his elbows. he sighs and says, "yes. let me—"

panel 3: before he cuts off into a loud, "FUCK," as luffy thrusts into him with zero hesitation. law's toes are splayed in shot, which is a crucial detail, because the artist is proud of how they drew the foot.

panel 4: a view from the head of the bed, looking down at where luffy is pulling one of law's legs over his shoulder. law grumbles, "fuckin..."

panel 5: a fade to black, as law continues, "warn me first... ah" as luffy laughs shi shi shi in the background.

heres a post-canon lulaw adventure, feat. an abduction, a monster fight, and a convenient fade-to-black [ #onepiece ] 1/4

13 page lulaw fancomic. page 1.

panel 1: the polar tang 2 is anchored in the ocean, a large number 2 slapped on its side to distinguish it from the late polar tang 1.

panel 2: law sits in his room, reading

panel 3: he turns a page in his book.

panel 4: a loud alarm starts ringing, startling him.

panel 5: law grabs kikoku, ready for combat, and raises his hand, saying, “room!”

page 2.

panel 1: law arrives in the main room of his submarine with a pop. he is immediately displeased. hakugan and ikkaku are standing there, seemingly shocked by the same thing that law sees.

panel 2: penguin and uni are also frozen, still half in battle stances.

panel 3: a grinning monkey d luffy gives them all a wave. he says, “traffy! hey!”

panel 4: law looks flatly at him. he says, “straw—“ before cutting himself off and trying again, “luffy-ya, would it kill you to call ahead?”

panel 5: luffy crowds up in law’s face, forcing him to lean away. luffy holds up a vivre card scrap labeled with bepo’s name, saying, “you gotta come with me! i’m gonna fight this big monster. it’ll be an adventure!”

page 3.

panel 1: law crosses his arms and looks away, insisting, “absolutely NOT. we aren’t anchored here for fun.” penguin and shachi stand suspiciously behind him as luffy groans, “aw…” from off-screen.

panel 2: law continues, “i have several things…” before cutting off with an “oof” as penguin and shachi shove him forward.

panel 3: they insist, “come on, captain! we can handle it!” and luffy cheers. law glares menacingly back at them, radiating a dark aura of fury.

panel 4: a close up of luffy grabbing law’s wrist as he says, “let’s go!”

panel 5: law looks down, a blush on his cheeks. he starts to say, “luffy-ya…”

panel 6: he abruptly finishes, “what the hell is that.” as he points down at a hardly sea-worthy dinghy that luffy has poorly lashed to the tang’s railing. luffy whistles innocently.

page 4.

panel 1: law sits in the front of the dinghy, legs and arms crossed primly and an oar across his lap. luffy stands behind him, waving goodbye to law’s crew.

panel 2: through pictograms, law asks if luffy has a map for this adventure. luffy smiles his best head empty smile and shrugs.

panel 3: law asks about food for the trip, and luffy points grouchily to his mouth, indicating that he’s eaten everything he brought.

panel 4: furious, law grabs luffy by the collar of his coat, and luffy leans in too, both of them yelling at each other.

panel 5: they freeze, argument forgotten, as a leak springs in the bottom of the boat.
