Great turnouts #DCAC @Wshed.bsky.social after watching ‘Deaf’ #Sorda with @hardiewrites. Interesting themes - relationship, family across generation, social norms and most importantly the role of language reflecting the reality of deaf lives within a ‘perfect’ world. Beautifully executed shootings!
Deaf poster featuring sulked face of deaf woman next to his hearing partner with wood framed mounting on the white bricked wallNathan with black top and jeans holding a microphone and his mobile standing on the stage. The screening of the image of deaf woman cuddling with her partner in the kitchen. Next to Nathan is a female interpreter wearing red top and grey trouser. 32 of us sitting on the chairs with 4 tables in the room with white and bricked walls.
