Rakdos was by far and away the best color combination in The Hobbit set. One of the best plays in limited you could make was 1 drop Tidings, 2 drop Goblin Platemail. On T2 you have a haste 3/2 with menace.

You are actually wrong. This card is good, to great, in limited and the amass mechanic was very, very strong. Even more so if you can cast it with either or both of these in play. Though opp tend to bolt ASAP I did live the dream a few times and ping my opp ftw.
