🔎 Search geoportals directly Connect a geoportal via a URL parameter and search its WFS services directly in WFS Explorer. For example, the Berlin geoportal can be explored this way:https://wfsexplorer.odis-berlin.de/?datasets=https://gdi.berlin.de/viewer/_shared/resources/services-internet.json

🌐 More WFS services work in the tool Some WFS services cannot be loaded directly in the browser. We added a workaround — a proxy — to make more of them accessible.

🌐 WFS Explorer has a few new additions. We built it to help people find, explore, and work with WFS (Web Feature Services) data directly in the browser — without needing GIS software. Now we’ve added some improvements based on user feedback

A big thank you to all speakers, participants and everyone who contributed to the warm atmosphere and the conversations after the talks. Thanks also to CityLAB Berlin for hosting us, and to the Berlin Senate Chancellery for supporting the event through ODIS — the Open Data Information Center.

🗺️ Maptime — maps beyond the screen. What happens when spatial data becomes physical, tangible, and interactive? At our latest Maptime, artists, designers, and developers explored maps beyond visualization: into material, craft, and felt experiences.

🌐 New Tool: The WFS Explorer WFS (Web Feature Services) deliver geodata over the web — but require complex tools and can be a pain to work with. WFS Explorer is a free, open source, browser-based tool to search, explore, and analyze WFS data — quickly and without the need for expert knowledge.

Last week I had the pleasure of finally releasing the #SveltePlot alpha version during my talk at the #SvelteSummit in Barcelona. It's a new visualization framework for @svelte.dev that I've been working on for the past 18 months, so it's about time for a 🧵

How much space do car parks actually take up compared to playgrounds and green spaces? I made a tool that allows you to explore and compare these public spaces in Berlin. www.hanshack.com/parking/
