I was certain that Albo has said the exact same thing but with the Rabbitohs. Sure enough I found a 2018 facebook post from Albo's account: "My mother raised me with three great faiths – the South Sydney Rabbitohs, the Australian Labor Party and the Catholic Church." www.facebook.com/AlboMP/photo...
