honestly i just had fun trying to come up with the composition. also painstakingly figuring out how to tackle the background to make it nice despite not even being able to see majority of it 😭 i learned things! learning cool!

So the "owner" and "moderator" of the Webspace Discord are just plain rude and not even communicating with this person properly. When I pinged them that it was a waste of time, they DM replied to me saying they got Timed Out mid conversation with the owner. +

82_MLN🍈 @hanidewmelon.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

So you mean to tell me you couldn't afford an artist for your game thumbnail and Discord server banner, yet you can afford to buy about $200 worth of Robux to payout the Art Contest winners? Alright whatever. I'll take my leave and- oh somebody is bringing up the AI and the owner is talking? +

82_MLN🍈 @hanidewmelon.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

Now at this point, I just feel like leaving, but there was one more thing for me to check. The Art Contest details. Apparently the images are drawn within their Roblox game itself, and submitted through there. Then top 3 receive a large sum of Robux... Price for scale. +

82_MLN🍈 @hanidewmelon.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

NOW I'm really curious and decide to check out their Discord serv- oh. *Oh.* Okay well what about that Pinterest comment that one user brought up?... Well..... That's all they said about it. +

82_MLN🍈 @hanidewmelon.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

I decided to finally check out the game once more, and to my surprise, they were holding an art contest to replace the current game thumbnail! Hm. That seems oddly coincidental... What could've happened? I asked in Global Chat to check the users' awareness and they know! But.. Do they realize? +

So one of the Roblox (wow!) games I tried for a little bit, "Webspace", was a cute little nostalgia-centered game where users could post MS Paint-style doodles and animations, and post text posts. In it's current state- the devs/staff of the game have used AI for the thumbnail. +

Tried mixed media on this one. Marker base and tried using color pencils to do touchups... if I had a white ink pen, I'd have better contrasting highlights 😮‍💨 #sketch

I'll say what Bluesky fails to address in v1.122 They've rolled out a new "adult content" tag applied on an entire account, hiding all their posts from users, including text posts, even if they may be SFW This update, while well-intentioned, defeats the whole purpose of the content filters system
