I also prefer use pure clang targeting wasm-wasi, and then limit exported functions. It gives me std library, and unless I touch something which needs wasi functionality, it's just plain .wasm, for string interaction you can use (not fully yet) wasm js-string-builtins.

No need to do it this complex, just compile to wasm, and use ´new Wasm.Suspending´ for wrapping functions you provide from JS for wasm to import in which you want to suspend, and ´wasm.promising´ for calling exports which can reach a suspending function. And the browser will do everything for you.

Only typy able to do it in constexpr is the string type; std::function is not constexpr mainly because of the SBO. There is no mechanism how to store unknown type somewhere without allocation in constexpr (you need reinterpret_cast)
