I told a lady last night that I liked her sequined dress as I left a pub and she proudly told me it was her 60th birthday and she had been nervous glamming up. Genuinely glad I let her know her dress was nice. She looked chuffed.

I had to have this Metroland ride token when I saw it on eBay! I loved that place so much. I had a little model of Whimsy the dragon on my bedroom ceiling as a kid.

Some of my favourite childhood memories from the early 90s are my parents getting me up in the wee hours and driving us down to Newcastle (from Stirling) to go to the Metrocentre and I'd get to go to the Metroland indoor themepark. It's absolutely where my love themeparks came from
