Transforming my top of the line 2014 MacBook Pro into an Ubuntu machine to give it a new life. Mac you've been good, but Mac OS 11 doesn't cut it. 🫡

So... this work got done in under an hour using this strategy w/Firebender and multiple parallel agents using Claude Opus 4.5. How long will it be before these estimates get updated to new agent development strategies in these models? 😱🤖

Estimated timelines showing how long this will take in person-days

Learning about Open Telemetry Specs. Always heard of it, but never used it. This viewer was helpful to visualize: github.com/CtrlSpice/ot...

2012 was my first #googleio and first visit to a Square office. 13 years later I'm flying to my 4th Google I/O. I miss the sky divers, beer taps with Androids, @chethaase.com and @romainguy.dev duo, GWT, Google Glass and more. But I'm excited for tomorrow to learn more about AI, Compose and more!

I remember when the #googleio app was THE app to emulate. It had best practices and was considered the bar to match. This was before AndroidX and Jetpack 👴. It stinks that there is only a web app for it nowadays.
