In my headcanon, billionaires' brains have some very strange paths burned into them over time. I think having that much power & that many resources is an unnatural state, and that the brain has to twist itself into contortions to prevent madness. (This produces another kind of madness, of course.)

Steal this idea: integration of Git repositories in a traditional word processor, natively, or as extension. Use Git repo issues for in-line comments—way better on lengthy manuscripts. Wiki ideal for managing lore et al. Branches for ebook, print etc. Decent collab, merges, versioning and blame.

PSA: If you are in "infosec" and pentest third-parties—get consent—know your shit. Wasted hours on incorrect reports from an amateur "team" trying to get paid for FUD. Reported malicious behaviour to their VPS provider, referenced laws, introduced them to my lawyer, billed for wasting time. FAFO.

Thinking about my late friends Ally MacDermot and Ray "Hilty" Hilton today—unless you're a local, their names won't mean much. I used to find thinking about them very painful, but today I'm very happy reminiscing about sharing music for hours on end into the night—vinyl, mixtapes, CDs, all sorts.

Seems like a nice middleground solution to not consume masses of Bluesky resources whilst neatly integrating with what already exists , e.g. YouTube, SoundCloud et al. Would be a real boon for creatives. No need to upload twice.
