I recommend Best Ball as safer sports gambling option. I spend 45 minutes drafting a $5 team that I follow for over 4 months. Best Ball becoming a financial problem would be like going to the movies becoming a financial problem. It’s possible, but I’d really have to work at it.

Yup. I don’t think I’ve ever intentionally sought out a pumpkin-flavored anything beyond pie. I like pumpkin pie occasionally. That’s pretty much it for me.

This is really good framing. I’m a capitalist at heart. I want a system that rewards hard work, innovation, and building things that make a better world for all of us. We’ve built a parody of that though. We don’t need trillionaires who got that way by making things worse for everyone else.

How many reservations are other people making? Unless it’s a big group, most of the time we just show up and get seated. I can probably manage to make the call myself for the 2-3 events a year I’m responsible for that need a restaurant reservation. AI is a solution in search of a problem.

The ridiculous thing is that they‘ve had the “optimize lineup” button on a lot of websites for many years. They’re talking about using AI to do something that is already being done. AI always seems to be a solution in search of a problem.
