with love: nothing stops (industry) artists from making their online presence more than the blank canvas of just "digital artist" along with a business/patreon link in a bio and only posting an unannotated portfolio. E.g. a history of anti-generative-AI commentary does wonders against AI accusations

if you're wondering how the tech field is going apparently someone built a "torture box" for an LLM where they basically just tell an LLM to act like it's in pain in a loop and a lot of people are REALLY MAD about it and are petitioning github to take down the repo and save the bot from its torment

I took an earlier day tomorrow after what happened. I wanted to call off the Wednesday morning, but I opted into not doing it. I was hurting a bit after the loss of my grandmother, but I at least knew it was coming in her case. The news I got Tuesday night from my dad broke me that evening.
