So bonus Roxas and Riku go here cause I really liked their designs but OHHHH the transformations this time absolutely go to Lion King and Timeless River!

~Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Final Mix~ #Hallowfallgames Holy shit. I didn't expect it to still hit so hard yet once more I was left by the end of the game absolutely sobbing once the music started, all in the feels again. Proudly can say I made Ultima though! Love the storyline and connection between them.

But of course we loved Paz and truth be told I was not expecting her to turn villian BUT I LOVED IT! Also our wonderful singing weapon Chrysalis <3

~Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker ~ #HallowfallMetalGear #Spoilers In this one we went through our beloved Naked Snake coming to terms with the loss of Boss (rest in peace) as he begins to forge his path to Big Boss! The date scene was weird though...

~Weapons~ #HallowfallShows I really love the way the story was told through seeing what each of the characters were up to over the same timeline. And the subtle notes of the passage of time too such as Alex's ability to feed others soup. My fave part though was James refusing to stay down.

~The Conjuring: Last Rites~ #HallowfallShows #H+KConjurverse This is it. We finished the Conjurverse with this one. It had all the good subtle and in your face spooks, some great ones even. Though something felt just a little odd in the pacing of the family's story.

~Midnight Mass~ #HallowfallShows OMG THIS SERIES. I WATCHED IT ALL THIS WEEKEND AND OMG I LOVED IT. The way the story was told, the story itself, URGH YESSS. The way the second last episode ended in the church with the townspeople and the 'angel'. Spooks without getting too spooky, but bloody.

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

~The Conjuring: Devil Made Me Do It~ #HallowfallShows #H+KConjurverse So far this has now taken my top spot. Once again loved but was so creeped out by the real tape recording at the end. But also loved how this took a different path to the other conjurings while still feeling a part of it all.

~Clinical~ #HallowfallShows So please check trigger warnings before watching this just in case as it hit some things pretty hard. Was an okay watch for me, enjoyed the way it came together in the end.

~The Conjuring 2~ #HallowfallShows #H+KConjurverse Back to the mainline movies now for the end. This was gooood. I love that while we have Valak, we are still getting other spooks in it such as The Crooked Man. The painting scene was great too!! But the real tapes in the credits... fuck...

000

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Bonus part: there was some cuties in it for sure that I need to squee about. Axel is just so wonderful! I love his story and interactions. Saïx is for sure my fave of the Organisation XIII (excluding Axel) AND OMG RIKU UMMMM YESSS FOR DESIGN GLOW UP!!! (Though he was my crush as a kid anyway)

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

~Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days~ #Hallowfallgames So with the remake there is no game to play just cutscenes and little text fill ins. Again one I'd not gone through in the series but so very needed for connecting with these characters and learning their place in it all. Has me so excited to start KH2.

~Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories~ #Hallowfallgames I'll be real... I did not get far in this one before it just became too much of a struggle for me. So I technically didn't finish it BUT I watched all 3 hours of cutscenes! Soooo good I never knew all this lore! (just fuck the combat)

020

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

~The Curse of La Llorona~ #HallowfallShows #H+KConjurverse The background spooks were starting to come back in this one. Rafael had me giggling with the deadpan responses to everything. Overall enjoyed the story and flow.

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

~Annabelle Comes Home~ #HallowfallShows #H+KConjurverse Even without our personal scary story that occured while watching this movie oh boy did it hit right with the spooks. It had good vibes and loved the way it showcased the other demonic items kept in the house. The Ferryman was soooo well done!!

010

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Neither of us can explain any of it. Link and Poe (our other boy) have both returned and are acting normal. Soo... hopefully everything will be okay despite my spine tingles and unease. Have a bonus pic of Link with the Annabelle Comes Home credits in the background from right after all this.

010

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Absolutely my fave part was getting to run around as a heartless and my fave outfit change was the Nightmare Before Christmas set.

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

~Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Final Mix~ #Hallowfallgames This was such a huge childhood game series for me that left it's mark on my soul. I still sob like a baby at the ending. I however hate all the bullshit extra hard enemies added making synthesis grinding hard, I gave up on that part. ON TO THE NEXT!!

120

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

~The Conjuring~ #HallowfallShows #H+KConjurverse Finally up to the one that started it all. Ooohhh it's soo goood. Yes it also doesn't have the background sneaky spooks BUT it does the tense looming dread throughout the whole thing sooo goood!! The clap clap game, the circus music box, THE TREEEE <3

010

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

~Annabelle~ #HallowfallShows #H+KConjurverse I forgot we watched this one, then couldn't remember it without a lot of help from Kirbs. While I know this was released early in the set of films it just... I don't know... didn't feel like it belonged spook wise? Not bad, just different to the previous.

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

This one hurts. Rocky Horror was my childhood and so ingrained in me on a cellular level to this day. His voice in Fern Gully gives me chills. I still meme SPACE anytime there's a chance. And no matter what he was in he was always smashing! I'm thankful he is finally at peace but fuck it hurts...

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

~The Nun 2~ #HallowfallShows #H+KConjurverse YESSS I really enjoyed this one. I loved getting to see more of Frenchie and enjoy the connection between him and Sister Irene. I was confused though why Sister Debra wasn't given a reaction to learning that the nun in the story being told was Irene.

000

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

~Annabelle: Creation~ #HallowfallShows #H+KConjurverse Again the subtle spooks are soo good, I fear I'll be able to say this about all the movies in this series. The house in this and the tree felt familiar but not sure. Janice was for sure my fave but that really doesn't come as a surprise.

000

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

~The Nun~ #HallowfallShows #H+KConjurverse Kirbs actually really likes this one which made it great to start off with. I loved the lore building and all the subtle background spooks. Also the twist to do with the nuns and Sister Irene.

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

My man @k1l2l3y.bsky.social is absolutely treating me and together we are watching through all the Conjurverse movies. He's not big on the spooks but he knows I love them!

~Bugonia~ #HallowfallShows I was constantly going back and forth on how I thought this would play out as I watched it and that was sooo good. I just couldn't keep up but in a good way. Genuinely liked it and the cinematography and sound work!

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

~Five Nights at Freddy's 2~ #HallowfallShows I do not care what others had to say about this, I honestly had fun watching it. The way they are telling the story works for the world they have placed it in, all the little game action references don't feel forced, they felt more naturally part of it.

010

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

~Companion~ #HallowfallShows I LOVED THIS. I loved Iris as a character and honestly can not blame her for what she chose to do. Patrick was also just fun.

~Mindcage~ #HallowfallShows This was a good watch. The story flowed well and I enjoyed the way they weaved to the ending.

My partner and I beat the main story in Palworld tonight. My wispaw, Haunts was my ruthless little damage dealer. My partner even took the time to specially bred him for me just so I could raise him from level 1. #HallowfallGames #Palworld

~Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen~ #HallowfallShows Very quickly got hooked on this series. The vibes and way it was put together was great, the misleading dread feeling and the way it all came together at the 'wedding'. Loved the story telling and the blood shed.

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

~Dream Scenario~ #HallowfallShows This was a fun watch to me, seeing how it all flipped so quickly would be such absolute whiplash to be in it. Whole time though I was just distracted thinking Nicolas's character reminded me of someone else almost exactly in personality.

~Heretic~ #HallowfallShows Went into this blind as a random pick and it was a good watch. I enjoyed the ramp up of uncomfortable vibes, how it all felt wrong right from the start but built up all the more. Like yes you could guess certain bits but it still felt fun to see how it would be revealed.

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

I am honestly heart broken that there isn't more cute trinkets and merch of the Cozy Grove game. I LOVE this game. It's such a huge comfort and even now the playtest of their new one Spirit Crossing is helping me through a really bad mental space. I need it and Cozy Grove 2 out already!!

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 13/06/2026

~Devil In Ohio~ #HallowfallShows I freaking LOVED this. I love the vibe, I loved the story, I loved the character interactions. I was hooked.

000

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 11/06/2026

When I'd seen it years ago I thought the story felt rushed and missing parts, seeing it again having read the story, it's missing everything that made you feel for the characters and obviously especially Ender. BUT I did really like the bugger design sooo one positive I guess...

000

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 11/06/2026

~Ender's Game~ #HallowfallShows It's... taken me a week to get around to actually writing this... So I read the book, loved it. The movie... actually left me feeling heartbroken for the story. It was like an empty shell, a mere hint at what the story should be. Urgh why wasn't it good!!!

120

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

~Ender's Game~ #HallowfallBooks I watched the movie so long ago and remembered thinking it all switched up too fast like huge parts of it were just missing that didn't make sense. So my partner recommended I read the book (me not knowing it was based on a book). AND I'M SO GLAD I DID!!!

When you feel drawn to pull cards with everything that's been going on and these fall from the deck resting over each other... this hits real hard especially right before a full moon.

~Devil's Diner~ #HallowfallShows An fun little horror anthology with an underlying backbone. Some of the meals made me personally panic at the thought of eating them, but were presented so beautifully. Really loved the ending in particular.

000

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

~Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood~ #HallowfallShows My partner got me to watch this for the first time and I'M SO GLAD HE DID! The story and the character development was sooo good and the way they subtly aged them up. But the Homunculi were some of my faves for sure! Lust, Greed and Gluttony!

010

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

~If Wishes Could Kill~ #HallowfallShows This was a good watch and truthfully has me keen to watch more Korean scares. Absolutely flinched a few times, and loved the parts related to the scene below.

000

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

~Marianne~ #HallowfallShows This was a good show. Yes I had to turn the subtitles off as they REALLY did not match to the dubbing (which was also not the greatest) but the story was worth it. Some good spooks and jumps and honestly I really enjoyed the ending.

000

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 12/04/2026

~Mother!~ #HallowfallShows This was an absolute trip. Like I would be following the story and liked how they showed the passage of time but ohhh boy did it get very suddenly full on and confusing but like not in a bad way but what the fuck just happened. Later found out it was a biblical retelling?

010

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 12/04/2026

~Cuckoo~ #HallowfallShows A random pick that actually paid off this time. I enjoyed the flow of the movie as well as the story of it and the effects. Creature films are always fun when done well.

000

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 06/04/2026

~Drop~ #HallowfallShows Was alright. For a Blumhouse I expected it to be... I don't know... more? Was very tame on thriller side of things.

000

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 06/04/2026

~Shell~ #HallowfallShows Another beauty treatment goes horribly wrong. A couple of giggles but overall just okay. Follows the same flow as all the other movies of this kind. Did enjoy the opening going straight to it though.

Alissca @hallowfall.bsky.social · 05/04/2026

~Follow Me~ #HallowfallShows Ehhh..... 30 minutes story lead in, 30 minutes Saw (but basic), 30 minutes Hostel. Could tell the ending very early on. It was okay but more of a background watch, not a main focus.
