#maythe4th be with you! Just got this excellent #starwars print from @bottleneckgallery This art is from the cover of the original novelization back in ‘77. It’s one of my favorite pieces of art for the film.

@bottleneckgallery has some original Star Wars concept poster prints coming out & this is the one I wanted. I love this art, its a reversed version of the novelization art, & its so very of its time. It takes me back immediately to that era much like the Hildebrandt Star Wars poster does.

Frankenstein + The Bride of Frankenstein + Sid and Nancy + True Romance + Bonnie and Clyde + Young Frankenstein + Fred Aistaire & Ginger Rogers musicals = The Bride! A perfect mashup! 🎥

The first three months of 2026 have given us superior genre films from Nia DaCosta, Emerald Fennell & Maggie Gyllenhaal and I am here for all of this. @thebridemovie @28yearslatermovie @wutheringheightsmovie all of these films will hit my top 10 for 2026.

Doug @hallospaceboy.bsky.social · 07/03/2026

@thebridemovie IS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ a wonderful genre mash up that breathes new life into Mary Shelley’s monsters. Go see it.

Rental Family is now on HULU , and its 100% worth seeking out. Brendon Frasier is terrific in this very sweet and touching film.

Just a note to mention @hulu has several really good movies from 2025, that run the gamut of scifi, comedy, drama, music and magical realism. These flicks are all worth seeing if you have not yet. Life of Chuck (not pictured)

Brett Ratner has always sucked from the get go, that he sucks trumps dick now is no surprise. Like this guy thinks he could make a better version of Red Dragon than Michael Mann, lol, lame.

Weird to think anyone thought Tony Robbins was anything but a late nite infomercial joke like the hair club for men or that mars is men women are venus shit is really laughable. He is the perfect trump chump, you didnt see that, is a YOU problem.

This is my favorite Bond after For Your Eyes Only. Timothy got a raw deal and didn’t get a chance to expand on his version of James Bond, but he was excellent as Bond.

Good for them. I know and have witnessed many couples who are married who cant even talk about politics bcse (the man mostly) is a conservative & they overlooked the issue when dating & are now stuck in a marriage like that. Politics is important, you should share values w your partner.

Many directors would be lucky to make one film that rates a 10/10, Rob Reiner had at least 8 that went to 11.
