iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I read Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality years ago, when I was in a highly-controversial community full of sex cult scandals, misogyny, and people who never read anything else but wouldn’t shut up about how life-changing the story was. Sorry. I am no longer in Harry Potter fandom.

like mine, there are four of them.

its going to be cold out there. make some soup about it.

Normal chicken noodle soup is overrated, honestly. halimedemf.substack.com/p/four-soups...

two articles tomorrow, I think. A plea to the rationalists, and soup,

I think if you could decide not to have it then trans wouldn't. it shines through

010

the division of labor emerges from reproductive capacity, and divides men from women. but women also have the mystical glowing essence, and in a hypothetical world where the division of labor never occurred, they would still have that. as we see with trans having it.

well the glowing essence is in women. she has it from birth even if it needs estrogen to express. the division of labor is like... it emerged at least partially based on that, and on reproductive capacity

it produced the roles. but as I've said at least for women gender is a kind of glowing fluid or essence. men and nonbinary I don't know or really care how they do it

140

now some say "no! gender abolition stands for loosening" to which I say "you have no idea what Abolition means"

gender abolition is a stupid idea. women should be able to do anything (though there are somw things she should not do) but she is woman when she does it.

Just because I'm a feminist doesn't mean I'm a Marxist.

you can like gay men as a woman. it's not even uncommon.

130

perhaps the most telling detail about the kind of person I am was that I read Brideshead Revisited because of Strider's Edge

pink in the night (2019)

lyric comic to pink in the night, by mitski. page 1 text: and i know i've kissed you before, but i didn't do it right. scene 1: a little boy and girl are sitting in the rain. the boy wipes away tears, having tripped and scratched a knee. the girl leans forward to kiss the small wound. scene 2: the two friends are in elementary school, holding hands. the boy looks at a picture depicting a mom, dad, and child.

page 2 text: can i try again, try again, try again. scene 1: high school. they lie on the floor during a study session, but they only have eyes for each other. scene 2: college. the same couple, only now they are two girls, kissing in bed. scene 3: the girls are getting married, exchanging a sweet kiss in a field of flowers. sunset colors cast warm light onto their wedding dresses.

page 3 text: try again, and again, and again. scene 1: the girls are moving in together. one dozes off against an unpacked moving box as the other kisses her head. scene 2: disneyland. both wear minnie mouse ears as they take a selfie, laughing at the kiss mark one has left on her wife's cheek. scene 3: the childhood friends have grown older. one woman hides a bouquet behind her back as they kiss over breakfast.

page 4 text: and again, and again, and again? scene 1: the women wake up in bed together, hints of grey in their hair. one kisses the other's bare shoulder. scene 2: a winter walk. they kiss as their dog plays in the snow. scene 3: the shore of a beach. the wives have greying hair and fine wrinkles, but they're still just as in love. they hold each other close, laughing, full of affection.

its ok. there will be places and times where you slot in. at least you're not the big square!

0100

I mean that's more about artistic skill, really. but I think that counts for aesthetics. Well, I can't get married to you until I learn Spanish. Not because I would be insecure about the other one. Just because I wouldn't want to ever not know, what my wife was saying.

030

one of the funny things about trans is a surprising number of them had mind-body dualism phases in middle school. for reasons that are in retrospect very sad. but its still funny

81029

absolutely not. I just wouldn't really want to get married to somebody who wouldn't even say she found me cute.

110

Hm. Well I do feel valued for my cleverness. But I would also want to feel valued for my body. That kind of implies you'd marry anybody who could figure out what that implement is for.

110

the pointy bits are for grabbing; the black bit on top stops it from slipping.

pulls fabric to a desired level of tension before it's attached in place by another tool!

A new show comes out and nobody can agree on the main character's gender. Suu tries hair dye, and Ogiue and Sasahara both get a little upset. Su reveals that she got a PhD. Hato has a dream that Yajima has it and wakes up strangely conflicted and guilty. Yajima has this exact same dream.

030

(keiko sasahara's husband is cheating on her and she considers cheating on him, but ultimately decides against it). Due to an offhand misunderstood remark from Hato, Yajima tries to gain weight, thinking that's what she likes. Tanaka discovers his children got into the locked cosplay room.

Yoshitake's little sister who looks way older than she is and uh. is like that. discovers Onimai. Gunpla chapter redux! Kuchiki gets hit by a truck and dies and Madarame makes an isekai joke at his funeral. Yajima tries to convince Hato not to get The Surgery. A Day In The Life Of Keiko Sasahara

Angela shows up at Hato's place and tries to get her to draw tr*p doujinshi. Ogiue attempts to explain The Throuple to her parents. Madarame gets hit on by a gay guy, genuinely likes the attention, gets caught by Kousaka who is at the same gay bar. Kousaka pokemon card game tourney arc.

150

Ogiue's daily throuple blissful life problems. Sasahara x Kousaka. Hato tries to get Yajima to write her a yuri oneshot, swearing it'll just be the once she promises pleeeease. Ohno kisses Saki; Saki kisses back in front of Madarame to get back at him. Kaminaga Returns

130

well, if you were saying things like "the most homosexual thing is fighting" then I'm not surprised.

040

I don't think you really know what homosexuality is.

Not really. I just saw somebody being wrong on the internet.

360

go on then. do it. and I'll provide one.

150

@armoredprincess.bsky.social you literally posted right underneath this that you were in favor of this. So why did you like my post?

150

that's wonderful. but I hope you aren't doing anything weird

060

I'm grateful that you're a fan but I have to say that you haven't understood my message given your t4t

020

right. absolutely. but the textboxes are used to play magic gathering.

180

very pretty art but theres blue text boxes in the way

260

sorry. didn't have room for Breath Of The Wild

I appreciate historical fiction but sometimes that game feels like anti-memorial foundation propaganda.

1190

Sorry. I'll try to think about her genitals more.

Halimede. @halimede.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I read that as normal misogyny. but I was wrong. I apologize for not informing myself sufficiently on transmisogyny. I had no excuse. I promise to do better next time, and to listen to trans voices.
