It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Dr. Robert Bartlett, known as the father of ECMO. It was a true honor to have met him at EuroELSO Meeting on 5th of May, 2017 when I was an intensive care fellow— a moment I will always cherish. Rest in peace 😔
