One thing I would like to try this month is more 3D-directed painting (as in painting on a render). I haven't painted since high school but I did enjoy it back then (just don't have enough space to do these days). I mainly just want to try rendering something and painting over it.

At the start of every month I sit down, assess what I did in the past 30 days and determine my plan for the upcoming month. In this case it's continue to animation study, model OCs and start making landscapes (for use in Godot). V busy. Just need to figure out what each items priority will be first.

I was annoyed when this was announced over Re-Pac 2 so I avoided it upon launch. Figured it as some kinda 'dark re-imagining of a cute franchise' like Bomberman Act Zero or Space Invaders PS2. Guess I didn't miss anything lol.

Purchased some retro PC games from the States a week ago for about $60 and now I've been informed I have pay $160 in 'import fees'. Lol nope. Cancelling that order asap. Sucks its already in the country though. No idea what the seller is gonna do. They predicted $20 in customs. Not this.

Like from the stuff I've found on my drives are mulitple 4-hour albums from the same artist, random James Ferraro tapes, someone's recorded D&D campaign, an entire Vaporwave label's releases, Datpiff tapes, and an album just called Dood. I have a lot of listening to do.

Beat Kingdom of the Dead recently. Boomer shooter with some of the most gorgeous graphics I've ever seen. Very satisfying to play too, every gun had heft and felt great to use. The rappor the detective had with his sword was pretty funny too.

Running into an issue with my rigs: inaccurate deformation on the bum/abdomen when legs are out (like seated). My options are use corrective shape keys, corrective bones or just properly weight paint the model. More bones it is!

every level feeling like marathon and bosses relying on RNG to kill you but the last world and finale really redeemed it. It's definitely a game with high highs and low lows. Still though, that finale re-ignited my love for Frogger. Still need to do Ancient Shadow now.

I finally beat Frogger Beyond (PS2) after ragequitting back in early 2025. I still maintain the minecart segment is one of the worst levels ever and that this is the most difficult Frogger game I've played. Started to get burnt out in Underground.

Felt kind of rushed at the end. There's 3 segments all jammed that each feel like the final boss, only to reveal it's not. They could definitely have spread them out earlier in the game. I do like how Odd became overpowered at the end, having the highest damage + longest range.

Beat two games over the weekend. Code Lyoko NDS was the first one. The ending is pretty funny, game just abruptly ends and the cast just thanks you for beating it. Also gives you some info about a potential ARG and secret codes on the show's website.
