Do you know how to make a fruit fly trap? It is pretty easy, you can take a cup or a jar with fruit, honey, apple cider vinegar, and a tiny bit of dish soap at the bottom. Then make a funnel shape out of paper with an opening at the bottom, then put it in the jar. Worked for me when I had them 🥹

An old friend from school came back to town, so we got the old friend group together (what is left of it, anyway) and hung out. It was a lot of fun to catch up. I got two Miku figures from a gacha machine, the one on the right was the one I wanted. :)

Grr. I feel like there should be limits on the number of biblical references in a puzzle. 3 of my blind spots were religious references (17A, 6D, 29D) that I just had not heard of. Well, I looked up the words/phrases and am now a bit smarter for it. I guess that's the point. Better luck tomorrow!

Bah. Rest in peace streak. Fun puzzle with a neat theme, but I had the wrong first letter for 54D. I was 10,000% convinced it was correct, and spent a long time hunting for problems elsewhere.

Spent some time at the Cleveland Museum of Art today. I can't believe I've never gone before, it was much bigger than I expected and had some truly wonderful pieces. 頑張って最後の写真の日本語を読もうとしたが、全然読めなくてまだまだだね🫠

Idk what happened 🥹 I took a 2 week break and now I can't do crossword puzzles anymore hahaha. Gave up after an hour. This time I was close, there was just one mistake in the puzzle I never even doubted.

Gave up on this one lol, there was just too much I clearly didn't know enough to even get at. Very hard puzzle in my opinion (the theme wasn't hard, but the fill was!)
