Reality do be feeling that way.
Just text that says, "It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane."

Coffee and watching the sun rise never gets old.
Tall evergreen silhouetted against a vibrant sunrise sky.

The sky glows with a gradients of bright orange, yellow, and soft pink visible through the dense branches.

One of the benefits of my dog going deaf is that he no longer cares about the 4th of July. Unfortunately he takes barking cues from my other dog who has anxiety.

Poor puppers has been made to wait forever (10 seconds) to be let back into the house and looks up with hope as I approach with salvation of an open door. He actually has an adorable soft bark he does for getting let in, like an under his breath woof but loud enough to be still heard.
My dog Bandit (a 14 year old brown mini daschund with a greying face) stands on his little stairs in front of the sliding glass door waiting to be let in.

Weiner butt.
An old brown (lots of white fur on his face) weiner dog with his butt and back legs just hanging off the end of his grey dog bed. He looks sleepy and content (despite the whole butt hanging off the bed thing).

Got my son working on this set for some Thanksgiving decorations - originally got it for myself but thought he’d have even more fun with it and have something to brag about tomorrow. Also we might include that shark 🤣
Our countertop with the LEGO Botanical Collection set called “Dried Flower Centerpiece.” In the foreground, there is a partially completed LEGO flower arrangement featuring a large red and orange sunflower, yellow blossoms, and green leaf details. There is also an iPad with a blue protective case displaying the digital LEGO instructions. The box for the LEGO set is visible in the background.

Feeling real jealous of this guy right now. He just had to get up a move a little farther from the fire because he was too warm and that was probably the biggest thing for him today.
My miniature daschund, Bandit, passed out on the carpet by the fire. He’s having a good sleepy day.

Saw this one at daughter’s scholastic book fair - honestly had know idea about Paris Hilton’s ADHD and story, seems like it might actually be worth looking into.
Book: Extra Ordinary - Celebrating Neuro and Physical Diversity

An heiress to the ginormous Hilton hotel fortune, Paris Hilton has lived a supremely luxurious life.
She spent her childhood being whisked between family
mansions and
A-list
soirees. For her
twenty-first birthday, she threw herself a party in five different cities around the globe. Her three-day wedding extravaganza featured seven couture gowns, including a see-through party dress made entirely of Swarovski crystal stars.
Her lavish lifestyle has led
some people
to dismiss Paris as an out-of-touch princess-and granted, tiaras are still one of her favorite accessories. Yet, being uncommonly privileged does not mean that her life has always been a fairy tale. Paris was diagnosed with ADHD as a kid and was put on medication for it at age 12.
The mental health condition led to difficulties paying attention and impulsive behavior. In her teens, struggling under the glare of the spotlight, Paris acted out, skipped school, and partied so much that her parents sent her away to a boarding school that was part of what is now known as the
"troubled teen industry." The four schools she attended were supposed to offer her specialized support that would help rehabilitate her. Instead, they traumatized her. She and the other students experienced daily physical and emotional abuse-including confinement,
strip
searches, and
beatings-that continue to haunt Paris. (Today, she's an advocate for fellow survivors, ensuring these so-called "care" facilities have much-needed government oversight.)
Still, Paris battled back from the ordeal to become not only a major celebrity but a formidable mogul in her own right. She started by signing up with a reality TV show-one of the first of its kind. In 2003, she teamed up with her friend Nicole Richie for The Simple Life. The program, in which the socialites poked fun at their pampered lifestyles by attempting to do various kinds of manual labor, was so popular that it ran for five seasons. Paris emerged from it as a global influencer and early…
