My “this is the only time I intentionally started a house fire” statement has people asking a lot of questions already answered by my statement.

Article screenshot. Text: “The RCMP’s national headquarters said the 2023 incident was the first time officers had ever intentionally started a house fire, and that the tactic has not been used anywhere across the country since.”

Is somebody in this thread able to test and compare those with these I found at Costco in Ontario? I’m considering trying it. www.costco.ca/.product.100...

They do. They collect taxes and they add their own exorbitant fees on top of it. www.ups.com/us/en/shippi...

Screenshot. Highlighted text: “please pay online at UPS.com prior to delivery.”

Full text:

How do I pay the outstanding import tax and fees?
The best way to pay fees is online before delivery. Start by tracking your package on UPS.com. If a yellow banner appears, click the Pay Now link. You will be taken to a page to see details on the fees and view payment options.

Your delivery driver may also be able to accept payment at the time of delivery. However, a $12 surcharge will be applied; if so, payment options are limited.

For the best delivery experience possible and to avoid this surcharge, please pay online at UPS.com prior to delivery.

Google exchange rate charts always had those weird dips for me and never understood why. The USD to CAD chart has a dip on a completely different date. For some reason they always seem to be on a weekend (both Dec 21 and Nov 9 were Saturdays)

A stunning photo of the aurora. Mostly green and some red. Filling almost the entire sky. On the foreground, the outline of a tree, 3 people in front of it (me and my family), and a dirt country road. It’s dark and you can barely see the people’s faces.
