One of the other sad parts about the AI scraping of Cara, is how nobody reporting on this does basic research. All the news sites call it a "Photo App". Because the first article called it that. They don't bother actually looking at the app. Or do independent checks. They just copy the first one.

Song, Angharad and Maryam Pale Lights book 3, chapter 61 Angharad is convinced she's the sane one, ya all. #palelights #Fanart #SongRen #AngharadTredegar #MaryamKhaimov #Cartoon #FantasyArt #Comicstyle #Art #GwenArt

Pale Lights Fanart for chapter 63. Song, Angharad amd Maryam from this scene:

It was no comical sight, not on a monster this size. Every spasm sent tall waves roiling and if it’d hit the ship it might well have dented the hull. Instead Orel Bolic managed to guide the skimmer close to the sneezing beast even as the hunting crew thrummed around her, tense as a pulled string. They settled into a broad triangle with herself and Lindiwe at the front, leaving room within for the two bodies they would be escorting onto the keto’s back: Song and Maryam.

The two had the blank faces of someone thinking too hard about what it meant to board a furious sea monster, so Angharad clapped their shoulders and smiled.

“Think of the story!”

Oddly, this did not reassure. Ah well.

Ugh! #Patreon is now "doing new and improved community" meaning "we are going to drown the posts you pay money to see in tons of things you did not ask for, but you also could pay money towards" Patreon, you were supposed to be one of the good places. Ugh! I *left* Instragram for this bullshit.

There goes one of the last true advantages of DeviantArt, it seems. This sucks. I used DA's folder options as a smaller gallery I could link fandoms to for my fanart. Because DA does do the gallery thing really well, and worked without you needing to log in. :(

Eve - Dressup (Event) for Aeliakyu AeliaKyu is doing a dress up event on Cara, and I could not resist. The event: cara.app/post/4f76fba... Pose reference from @trueref.bsky.social #aelia500 #fanart #dressup #eve #demon #gothiclolita #dress #fantasyart #comicstyle #darkmagicgirl #art #GwenArt

Aeliakyu is doing a dress up event, and I could not resist. I picked her character Eve.

This started up as a sketch of a very 18th century mantua inspired outfit, going for the big black overdress elements you see in some of Eve's outfits as well as the pastel pink tones and elements of her super feminine style.
I ended up changing the design sketch from floor lenght to mid lower leg lenght. And then it raised to above the knees on the final version, because that seemed more like the character. So this went from 18th century themed to dark magical girl (with demon blood powers) themed.

Thirteenth brigade lineup with height markers behind them.

Fortuna, Izel, Tristan, Angharad, Song, Maryam, Hooks and Ishanvi.

Some amusing facts: Ishanvi's small size combined with Izel's height and Angie's growth spurt means we're finally starting to have real height variation among the human members of Thirteenth.

Almost done with adding characters to my Book 3 Thirteenth fanart lineup for Pale Lights. Hooks is so extra here, she's even outdoing Fortuna. I really like how the murder of gloam turned out. #Palelights #fanart #HooksKhaimov #fantasyart #crows #dress #Renaissancefashion #princess #GwenArt #art

A very pale skinned young woman doing dark-themed magic summoning magic crows. She's wearing a Renaissance styled blue dress with red rose patterns and flowery headwear.
The dress is loosely based on a 17th century Hungarian piece. Even if my very modern graphic roses really just is me giving into my love of drawing those.
