I've never seen such an effort to censor a document as I have the Amnesty International report on gender critical groups because of JK Rowling. They removed the report from the Wayback Machine and now I got a DMCA strike on my Google Drive for having it. It was deleted and removed from my account.

A screenshot of an email viewed in dark mode with the subject line "Google DMCA Violation." The email from Google informs the recipient that they have received a notification under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) that some of their materials allegedly infringe on copyrights. It explains the removal process, mentions that notice details will be posted on Lumen, warns against repeated violations, and lists one affected Google Drive URL at the bottom

A nearly identical mobile browser screenshot of the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine. It shows a search for the same Amnesty International UK resources URL, resulting in the same message: "This URL has been excluded from the Wayback Machine."

Our Donation Drive now also supports Caritas Venezuela, an organization sending urgent aid to Venezuelans affected by recent earthquakes. Donate today and get art made by your favourite CartUn artists! Details in the links below. cartoonist.coop/aid-drive/ caritasvenezuela.org/donaciones/

The Co-op's mascots Inkling (an inkwell) and Nibford (a dip pen) are standing on top of rubble in a destroyed city. In one hand, Inkling has a pickaxe; and Nibford is holding a hard hat and a hammer, in the upper left corner there's a text that says "DONATION DRIVE FOR VENEZUELA"

This is beautifully edited and it made me tear up to think about the inner life of our pets and their ability to enjoy beauty, but it's also likely that she does this because she found a piece of chicken there five years ago

Lynda Barry did not squeeze your heart and simultaneously explain the point of all art with the barest of line drawings so you could tell me that AI is "inevitable."

HOW TO LOOK AT ART by Lynda Barry

In the first panel, a dog-headed woman, a mother, looks at a painting in the "Madonna with Baby Jesus" vein. A small blobby child is standing next to her.

Mother: IM NOT SURE HOW TO LOOK AT ART.
Child: WHATS SPOSTA HAPPEN?

In the second panel the dog-headed mother holds up her hands (paws?) trying to explain to the child.

Mother: SOMETHING BIG. A REVELATION.
SUDDENLY YOU JUST UNDERSTAND.

In the third panel dog-headed mother goes back to looking at the painting. The child holds up their arms to be lifted.

Mother: NOT SURE HOW TO MAKE IT HAPPEN
Child: HOW BOUT LIFT ME UP SO I CAN SEE BETTER

In the last panel, the dog-headed mother is holding the child, their position mirrored by the Madonna and baby Jesus in the painting.

Hey so this new KOSA/KIDS Act proposal has a little note in it that creates a whole new special Trump-appointed team to regulate the internet. So no more Congress votes. No more checks & balances. Just whoever the president picks to decide the future of YOUR internet. You aren’t mad enough.

in a cramped guard house, one long haired black and white cat lounges near a wood stove, his boots and scarf barely off him and his coat hanging by the door. Another, grey and white, pulls on his outer coat and steps towards the door. their shack is full of yarn, leaves, mud, books and notices.

portrait of a cat office at evening

in a dimly lit wooden study, a black long haired cat sits at a desk beginning needlework. She wears a plaid suit and sits in a sturdy chair, her tail wrapping around the frame of the desk. on her desk is a table cloth, and a top that is a whirring fan, a rotary phone, two books, a sake bottle and cup. A short hair siamese cat brings a steaming cup of tea. He wears a grey sweater with a red collar and cuff, and his tail sticks up energetically behind him.
