I’m with @chrisgeidner.bsky.social. If I feel empathetic, I think a lot of Doomers are using such venting posts as a kind of self-care. The way a ‘good cry’ seems to help some. BUT they are ‘just wrong’, as Geidner says. And the venting, insofar as anyone adopts that attitude, does harm.
