I've been working on a guide for my Dimir Moonshadow list for a while and I'm glad to announce that it's finally out (for free!) It has 5k words and delves into the sideboarding plans, deckbuilding philosophy, and gives many tips and tricks. drive.google.com/file/d/1aPo2... @fireshoes.bsky.social

Testing Tron in Legacy, day 4: Took a break today to play Invasion Block draft. Fascinating format - it's like half modern Limited, half old Magic with all the colour-hosing stuff etc.

Sigi @guydrinkstea.bsky.social · 08/05/2026

Day 3 of Tron testing: 2-3 R1: Stryfo Pile, P R2: Affinity, D R3: TES, D R4: UR Delver, P R5: BW Death n Taxes, D I think my mulligan decisions are still off. The Affinity match was close and came down to my opponent playing very well by forcing a Disruptor Flute that would've hit Emry.

Testing Tron in Legacy, day 2: 1-4 R1: Mardu Pyromancer, D 1-2 R2: Naya Depths, D 1-2 R3: Yorion Beans, D 0-2 R4: Forge, D 1-2 R5: Grixis Midrange, D 2-0 A bunch of misplays in this league that cost me some wins. Tron is good at beating sideboards, but I need to learn where I can't be patient.

This place is probably gonna be flooded with Magic B&R discourse today, but some good news from yesterday: I won my store's Riftbound release event! Game is super sweet and surprisingly complex.

Finally back on here after my PC had been broken for the past 2 weeks. Won this with Cradle Nadu at a local tournament a couple of weeks ago. Also, look at this unrelated Tundra.

000

Sigi @guydrinkstea.bsky.social · 04/09/2025

Got a nice little 4-1 with good old Cradle Nadu, only losing to honestly one of the coolest decks I've seen in a long time.

Sigi @guydrinkstea.bsky.social · 31/08/2025

3-0-1 at the local Legacy monthly with Cradle Nadu. I felt lost in the format ever since the lack of BnR update, but I think I found a comfortable spot. R1 BW Death n Taxes 2-0 R2 mirror - intentional arrogance draw with a friend R3 Mono W Stompy (Clarion Conqueror and friends) 2-0 R4 UB Tempo 2-1

Had to think about this for a while, which made me realise that my taste in music has changed a LOT over time. Define your musical taste in 6 bands/artists 1. Lupe Fiasco 2. Burial 3. 2814 4. Gnarls Barkley 5. Venetian Snares 6. Kendrick Lamar

People need to keep bringing this up so we either get some kinda statement from JK or WotC gives the event to another TO. Maybe @fanfinity.bsky.social?

Played Middle Earth CCG today. It might honestly be one of the most beautifully designed card games of all time.

Esper Midrange with Kaito felt fantastic tonight. Matches played were something like this: RUG Delver: LWW Bant Plagon Stoneblade: WLW RW DnT: LL Goblins: WW Painter: WW BW Ketramose: WW Bant Beans: WW

000

Sigi @guydrinkstea.bsky.social · 21/02/2025

Seeing people play Stock Up in the UB Tempo/Midrange decks is cool, but I feel like people shouldn't forget about Sauron's Ransom. I think there's some kinda UB shell with Troll, Reanimate, 2-ish Random and a Mystic Sanctuary out there, similar to the 2023 UB Scam decks.

000

Sigi @guydrinkstea.bsky.social · 21/02/2025

Oh yeah, update 2: we have long since stopped feeling it (and switched to Esper Midrange)

000

Sigi @guydrinkstea.bsky.social · 05/02/2025

Hey @expeditionmap.bsky.social, what are your thoughts on Bant Nadu right now? I think it might be better than the Cradle version for my local meta, so I got curious about it. Are you playing anything cool in the flex slots?

Update: We're officially feeling it

4 Brainstorm in Cradle Nadu, what are we thinking?

000

Sigi @guydrinkstea.bsky.social · 29/12/2024

3-2 at our local Legacy monthly with Cradle Nadu, finishing in 6th place. Still enough for prizes, but a bit frustrating that I seem to struggle with pushing my overall winrate on the deck significantly above ~60%.

000

Sigi @guydrinkstea.bsky.social · 25/12/2024

I've always enjoyed reading these round tables, and somehow, I ended up in one! If you want to read my and many other people's thoughts on Legacy, make sure to check out the article.

First league back and we're off to a hot start with a quick 4-1! Cradle Nadu: D, LL Eldrazi: P, WW Sneak Show: D, WW ANT: D, WW Eldrazi: D, WW

MTGO All Access token is back, and we all know what that means - it's time for another Cradle Nadu grind

000

Sigi @guydrinkstea.bsky.social · 17/12/2024

Some early post-ban Legacy testing tonight. Grixis Delver: feels good BUG Beans: feels good UB Fanatic: feels good Eldrazi: feels good Cradle Nadu: feels good I thought Frog had interesting gameplay, but honestly, the games with these decks have felt much more intricate with Frog gone.
