Today is the 25th anniversary of 9/11. I don’t talk about it a lot because I don’t want to “celebrate” today, but I remember taking the DART Rail down to the West End in Downtown Dallas, and showing up in the office just as the plane hit the second tower. It’s funny what memory keeps. Little things.

I got to introduce Dolly during a 57th Academy of Country Music Awards rehearsal in 2022. Still a highlight of my career. She was classy in every possible way. Grieving tonight. I’m going to miss her.
