It feels like an appetizer for something better, and the retreaded levels leave the experience a little hollow, but I will never ever ever call it anything less than a good game. The level design is too fun. Classic Sonic is too fun. The amount of routes you can take through the levels is too nice

I get overstimmed in places I used to love visiting?? I want to leave the theme parks and Renaissance fairs early nowadays because it's too much for my nervous system. I just wanna go home where it's quiet. I am so easily overwhelmed by my responsibilities I go to work fighting fear with pills.

I fret over my loved ones and dote on them constantly and check in on them. Siblings, partners, friends, but I also have extremely limited empathy especially with things I can't relate to. I drop out of people's lives because out of sight is out of mind.

There's this mentality among Sonic fans and haters that not only do you have to acknowledge Sonic 06 is objectively bad (understandable. I love P-06 so much it's such a safe space of a video game. An absolute comfort play. Warm and fuzzy. I'll get to play it more when I'm home which is good bc I'm gonna need all the creature comforts I can get.
