Peșu and Gasperotti were both just at the U20 WWC, where the former did the Italy vs Spain semifinal. Campos was also there and served as head VAR for the bronze final. Game of the day goes to Gasperotti, who oversaw the US’ exit on penalties against Brazil.

They went to an on-field review there because the penalty wasn’t given in real time, and since the offside happened first, they can’t turn nothing into an indirect free kick restart for offside (and that variety of offside was more of a subjective decision)

Goalkeepers take note, either roll the ball to who you want taking the goal kick or make sure the ball is already rolling when you’re giving it to your teammate to spot it. And if you’re the outfield player receiving it, pay attention!

I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen this but yeah…the ball was in the goal area, it was stationary when it was kicked and it was kicked and clearly moved…idk who was more at fault for that

Like yeah it's plain to see that attendance and TV revenue are up and all that, but we still have artificial suppression of player salaries and the league and owners are sidestepping the players' union to create new rules, in the name of maintaining the mere concept of "parity"
