No pueden hacer publi directamente de medicamentos con receta (Ozempic y similar) pero sí para que la población objetivo vayan al médico a pedir una medicación para lo que les han convencido que es una enfermedad. Porque cuando estás enferma, vas al médico, ¿no? www.instagram.com/p/DeZ1AkYjOnp/

Mark Zuckerberg is a monster.

At least one AI company is thinking about monetizing its users' mortality. Last year, Meta was granted a patent for an AI system that could keep a user account active well after death. In the words of the patent, "the language model may be used for simulating the user when the user is absent from the social networking system, for example, when the user takes a long break or if the user is deceased". It's a depressing thought, the idea of posting for ever. It's also potentially lucrative for Meta, as the company could continue to train its model through these zombie accounts.

Currently, a diagram is making the rounds that is claimed to show a significant reduction in Russian disinformation bot activity after Ukrainian drones hit Yandex data centers. There is no evidence that this plot shows real data. I suspect that this image is AI-generated.

so this graph does *not* mean that Ukraine knocked Russian disinfo ops offline. It also doesn't mean they didn't. It nearly certainly means Yandex's search indexers are down, and that a big chunk of the Russian Internet is offline - a lot of Russian businesses hosted their sites on Yandex.

I keep seeing variations on this post and the graph doesn't say what people are saying it says. It actually shows Yandex's servers are offline, it does not measure inauthentic malicious traffic.

"these researchers published a paper on something that literally any of us could have told you 🙄" ok well my supervisors wont let me write something in my thesis unless I can back it up with a citation so maybe it's a good thing that they're amplifying your voice to the scientific community in a way that prevents people from writing off your experiences as annecdotal evidence
they did the research in the first place because they believed you and wanted to tell people about it. they are not our enemies.
