Churches are supported with after tax dollars, so no, that money is not taxable Should they be charities and the donor qualify for a deduction? That’s a different question Fwiw, I don’t know of any govt run soup kitchens

The House and Senate needs to submit STAND ALONE BILLS. None of this bullshit that sneaks in other bills that they KNOW would never pass if it was a STAND ALONE BILL.

Religious organizations, like charities, are funded with after-tax money If you deregister them as charities, that would accomplish it, but many of them do good charitable work You could limit their political involvement, but then they could start a PAC Maybe get dark money and CU out first

Many American evangelicals are Christian Nationalists, but not all Christian Nationalists are evangelical The movement draws from many traditions What CN’s all have in common is the inability to separate church and state Maybe don’t tread on the same ground

Latest WSJ poll: "63% want to pause AI development 61% want a billionaire wealth tax 59% want Medicare for All 57% want a $20 minimum wage 58% want to end U.S. military aid to Israel" This is the center of the country politically. it is time all adjust to this political spectrum, esp. media.

1. Garland had to sue for testimony of 14 critical witnesses w/o which there'd be no case. The court took a year to rule 2. Garland began investigating Trump when he got to DOJ. He did not wait 2 years 3. Twitter delayed the probe 4 months 4. The J6 cmte delayed it by another 2 months 5. SCOTUS

Let's define "we" and what that means. The House, led by Dems, held Trump accountable and impeached him. History deserves the right context: Pressured by Mitch McConnell, the Senate GOP refused to convict Trump. They could have ended this. Every single sitting Dem tried to stop him.

And you know this how? Are you aware that the Federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour? About 1 million people in the US are unhoused. Many more are living beyond the means of their paychecks. But do go on about affordability. No reason at all why life should be easier for those whom it is hardest
