Sleeves to wear in bed, knitted for my late MIL who liked to read in bed but got cold arms and hands. I miss her. #ShowMeYourKnits

Do these socks count as stripes? #ShowMeYourKnits No pattern and can’t remember the yarn but probably Meilenweit, 8 ply.

Greenish, yellow and dark self-striping yarn was used for a pair of socks. There is also a diamond-shaped cable pattern on the upper side.

Stripes for this week’s #ShowMeYourKnits, so I can show this baby cardigan in self striping yarn. No pattern.

Baby cardigan in pink, purple, orange and red. It was a self striping yarn. It’s a fold over and I’ve attached ribbons to secure the two sides. It has a V-neck. One side is ribbing, the other stockinette with little ‘bubbles’ (what are they called?)

First attempt ever at invisible mending. Thanks to the tutorial by @10rowsaday.bsky.social, but I’ll need to practice more! I’ve hidden the mend by embroidering over it. The cardigan was shop bought, some 20 years ago! #ShowMeYourKnits

The sparrows are falling off the roof here (Dutch saying when it’s hot weather) but #ShowMeYourKnits is asking for blankets! I’ve only ever knitted two. Left a tenstitchblanket and right a twentystitchblanket (lazy…). I found the result a bit boring so have stitched random lines on it.

Ten stitch blanket held up by an invisible woman (me). The centre is yellow. Then orange, red, purple, green and blue.

Twenty stitch blanket in lilac, various shades of pink and a little purple. It has random swirls stitched on. Same colours as a cushion cover I showed in purple week.

Yellow for this week’s #ShowMeYourKnits. I think I’ve shown it before. It was a request from my MIL, to wear in bed. Yarn was not so important so I’ve used leftovers gifted to me.

My nephew is showing the almost finished item. It’s just sleeves and the upper part of a sweater.

Two sleeves with wrist warmers knitted on. It’s a sweater with the bottom part missing. Sleeves are bright yellow, the body is a more muted yellow.

Only one grey knit for this week’s #ShowMeYourKnits. I’ve shown it before, but still cute. Pattern is by Sarah Schira. Yarn is leftovers (and I played yarn chicken).

A knitted gnome with a pointy hat that keeps its eyes hidden. It’s about 10 centimetres tall, not counting the hat. The hat and body are grey, the pointy beard is a lighter grey. The last two centimetres of the body are red because the yarn ran out. The pompom on the hat is of the same red yarn.
The gnome has a big round nose, just under the rim of the hat.

A ten stitch blanket is all I have in garter stitch for this week’s #ShowMeYourKnits. I’ve used many leftovers for it and sit under it every evening.

A woman (without her head, but it’s me) holds up a square blanket. The centre is yellow, but the colour changes to orange, red, purple and green. The blanket is knitted in garter stitch and you only have ten stitches on your needle at any time.

I’ve shown my colour work mittens already too often, so now for something different. Fingerless mittens for my FIL (yes, got the size wrong with the second one), repairs on a shop bought glove (knitted a couple of new fingers) and fingerless mittens for my youngest. #ShowMeYourKnits

A grey glove on my hand. The thumb has been reknit with pink, one finger with brownish colours and one fingertip has been redone with orange. In addition there are two repairs, also done with pink.

Current WIP: badger cushion. Started with five DPNs but kept losing stitches and the cork stoppers got in the way. Then continued on a circular needle but it felt like knitting with two feeble cocktail picks. Have now split the work and use firm metal needles to go back and forth. @ShowMeYourKnits

First balaclava I knit (for my son to wear under his helmet). I have lined it with an old T-shirt because the yarn was too ticklish and caught in his stubble 😅. #ShowMeYourKnits
