Thank you! I am a Howard Hawks guy. Just give a well done story. That said, I have a hard time suspending disbelief for musicals. I could review them because I understand what makes a good musical but I really don't enjoy them. My favorite musical is Blues Brothers. youtu.be/z75DN5r_6H4?...

I do, as well, but it's on laserdisc and the player is buried in storage.

He's wonderful as a blissfully avaricious Nebuchadnezzar in the first half of the movie.

Outstanding. Our old place was surrounded by lots of trees. Before Covid, we had a heat wave that had the County issue red flag warnings and Edison cut the power for 4 days. Our new place isn't near trees but I made sure we had solar anyway.

Even the wife thought the movie wasn't very good, so you're safe. Elijah Alexander's performance is the only contribution that is memorable.

Really? I watched the first 30 minutes on Prime, felt it dragged and haven't gotten back to it. Is there more there, there?

Michael's pun penchant is rubbing off on you. 😆

It's not where Petersen filmed, but this is where Das Boot was set.

So you went to the Château de Brest? How was that? It's supposed to be grand and have a naval museum inside too.

Even at that young age the only reason that I watched that show was for Demerest.

Long hours at work trying to stay ahead of your assignments can have that side effect.

Songs that make us happy is a wonderful criteria. Which is what I used for my highlighted tune, as well.
